You need to do less research more often because it's very solid.
I unironically think there's something to this idea. I think the majority of preseason research is fruitless, we do it because it's fun more than anything. If you roll up to it say, 3 weeks from the first game, you have fresh eyes and only see what is in front of you whereas you can get tricked into the holding onto the ideas and biases you developed in January/February if you've been plugging away at it for any longer than that.

Hah thought I was the only one.

He's there at the moment but feels meh in a season where there seem to be picks stacked with upside everywhere you look.
yeah the guy does negative SC giving away frees for fun but he is so cheap and 50% have him and it helps structure other lines - that's why i have him. If a better option came up or my structure didn't need it I would be more than happy to jump off though.

Locked in i think unless some rookies don't start

Not too dissimilar from my team.

Running Laird and Bont with Green at M3, fading Cogs, Yeo at D3, Jones D4.

Also have Sheezel at F7 and Phillips on the bench, not keen on Phillipou, reckon Baker is the better option with 40k left over. I would also have liked to have seen how Flanders goes with Miller back in, Sturt looks like he's the 23rd-26th player.

Hope you do well, cos if you do it means I will too

Things can change in 11 days but this is how my team looks at the conclusion of the pre-season games:

Defence: Dawson was a mainstay for the whole pre-season; Docherty just slipped in after Daicos didn't show enough for me to be confident running him. The rookies did just about enough.

Midfield: Oliver out; it pains me but he had to go to facilitate better balance for the rest of the squad. M7 and M8 probably weaker than most but I'm hoping that the flexibility of being able to run D/M and F/M players through the midfield mitigates that somewhat.

Ruck: We all have our structures; pretty self explanatory.

Forward: This is make or break line; I had the first four for awhile but F5/6 are massive risk/reward propositions.

As always, rookies can be adjusted and some might get on field over others.

Allows 13 keepers and a chance to watch all the MPs
If I miss a must have MP or 2 I could downgrade a premo and upgrade my worst rookie for the 2 best mid pricers, whilst keeping 12 prems.
Line ups dependant as the forward line in particular is a little scary on field.

I would suggest Sicily Dwason or Stewart are better options to sinclair.
Thanks, hadn't considered moving Sinclair on, the 20k profit is appealing. Who of the 3 do you think would average more over this season?

Sicily And Doc are the stand outs that could post crazy numbers this year.

If your looking to save 20K flip a coin.

Heads / Dawson
Tails / Stewart

It is a tight call, you will want both at some point.

Thanks, might go Stewart, vice captain, last 3 years have been consistent. Dawson is a good pick too, will bring him in after byes.
