Lol...

2 idols and fail.

Surely one had to go on Sam in the event that Hayley was telling the truth.
That’s an epic fail. 3 out of 4 had immunity, and they still picked incorrectly 🙂

Probably a timely warning shot for George though. He’s been playing extremely well, except that he’s been telling people who to vote for (albeit correctly) and hasn’t been very idol-aware.

Just remember the info they got from Simon who had flipped to them was it was a Nina Shaun split.
Hayley's was the complete opposite would have been hard to believe her.

But yes it did seem like a massive fail.

There's a bonus extra on the 10 play site from post tribal, where Matt points out they expected Simon had an idol and George was sure that he would only play it on himself, not anyone else. They got that right. With 2 idols plus an immunity necklace though, George really should have been gone there.

I don't see George winning, but he's definitely survived well so far with the amount of times people have wanted him out.

And all Shaun had to do was listen to Sam and The douche king would've been history.

Ah yep forgot about that. That makes a lot more sense.

Pherhaps Hayley should have been given them a bit more info and said they gave Simon some false information but then again that would have put even further doubt.

Just imagine though. It could have been this had George went home and flipped the game entirely. So really this episode is likely to be Hayley's downfall.

5 - (Shaun, Sam, Nina, Simon & Hayley)
4 - (Shonee, Liz, Matt & Gerry)

Yeah did find it odd Hayley didn't speak to them more and explain what's happening.
If you're going to make a big play like that need to do a bit more work and back it up, make sure they will follow through.

Shaun always seemed to be selfish player in my opinion so I wasn't surprised he would play it on himself. Not a true hero if he wasn't ready to fight for his alliance. I was more shocked that Nina didn't put nore thought into playing it for Sam, seeing that she did get the info first hand from Hayley.

Shonee has to be in the conversation for best social player ever on Survivor Aus.
She’s in such a strong position with 9 left and she is essentially a 2 vote with Liz, they ain’t turning on one another.
Shonee did the same in her season with Fenella and they both made it deep in the game.
Using George as their shield as well, she’s going to have a strong pitch if she makes final 2 imo.

I'm hoping she wins it too. Has the Australian record for making the merge 3 times now from all 3 times playing the game. (Pretty easy to do being the only 3rd time player lol 🤣)

But I think she'll have to somehow win that final challenge on her own. She has shown she's somewhat good with endurance challenges so she's a chance. I can't see anyone who would take her to final 2. Not even Liz. Eg if it was a choice of either of Matt/Gerry vs Shonee. She would almost have to take one of the guys who have basically been goats. Liz' game is also so similar to Shonee's that it could be hard for the jury to differentiate their games so it would be a smart thing for Liz to do.

Otherwise it would be like letting Boston Rob win after 4 attempts... oh wait that did happen. 🤣

For mine, she is the clear favourite to win & deservedly so. She is always a few steps ahead of the others (along with George) & has the perfect shield in George - very smart play joining forces with George early on to essentially control the game without having a big target on her back.

She's also got the perfect personality for that social game. Popular high school girl / friends with the gay guy. I know that's a big stereotype but she knows it and plays it very well.

I'm not too sure Gerry has played the worst game. When you're older you always have a case. He'll also try to play the flying under George's wing card if he makes final two, but it's not as strategic as Shonee it's more a safety net for him. I mean, Gerry is just a pawn. But everyone feels sorry for the old guy and appreciates how hard it is to make it to the end as the oldest contestant so he would be a live chance at final two imo.

Matt on the other hand ... Probably an awesome dude in real life, but him and his bucket hat have got to go.

There’s still a redemption island type set up to come. 2 voted out then compete for 1 of them to rejoin the competition (for those playing at home)

That will be George for sure, and the challenge will be set up as such that gives him the best possible chance of winning.

Well, called that wrong.

Knew the majority would turn on each other before getting rid of the minority, think it's going to cost them though. I can see why George voted out Shonee, and it made sense to go early (to avoid being blindfolded himself), but he is in a poor spot now. That redemption type thing mentioned is basically all that could keep him in it now, as almost everyone wants him out. Hayley spilling about the $60K will probably cost him votes if he somehow makes final 2 as well (I don't see anyone deserving victory over him at this point if he does make it).

Shonee needs to return in another season, she is one of my favourites. 3 times is just not enough. :)
