Haven't seen much talk of Caminiti. $102k forward, virtually every Saints supporter's best 22 I've seen has him in it, even with Membrey back. With King out until after R6 he's probably safe-ish until then. JS and scoring concerns but let's face it, apart from Greene what <$123k forward rookie doesn't?

I came here to ask the same question. $102.4k rookies debuting in Rd 1 are worth their weight in gold. Think Nick Martin, Jack Hayes, Michael Gibbons, Nick Holman, Anthony McDonald-Tipungwuti and Adam Saad, all of whom tonned up before their bye. That's not to mention the sub-$102k basement-priced rookies over the years like Dwyer, Magner, Banfield, Bastinac, Mitch Robinson, Josh Hill, Cyril etc.

Of this year's crop only Cincotta and Caminiti look like Rd 1 starters. Surely Caminiti must be a show if named at CHF/FF?

Caminiti is only 19 years old, very young to make an impact as a key forward.
Those other guys you listed were mostly older than that

Might be easier to correct rookies prior to rd 3 to bring in the $102 rookies that look necessary than to have to find cash to upgrade to more expensive options if they fail

Not necessarily. Saad and Martin were 20, but Robinson, Hill, Rioli and Bastinac were teenagers.

None were KPFs of course
The ones that worked were typically older. I didn’t pick any of the last 4 there.

19 year old KPF? Oh man … SC graveyard most likely

Was Bastinac $102k at one point? Who cares I guess

Zurhaar is under an injury cloud and a real possibility to miss round 1 which may open the door for Eddie Ford
So what happens to Ford, when the cloud disappears from Zurhaar in Rnd 2?
1-2 game Rookies are the worst thing in SC. I'd rather cop an early donut, than get caught with early deadwood Rookies!!!
