How 'must have' is Ginbey?
Have him and McKenna currently and have Petracca, who I like, but Macrae is probably safer.
To go up to Macrae, one way would be to downgrade one of Ginbey / McKenna (Chesser, e g.)
Trying to think if it is worth it or just to go with Petracca (understand he's higher variance, but he is niggle-free and looks to be in great nick, tbf)

For mine he is the best defender rookie

Splitting time between half back & midfield

Big bodied with great endurance

Same premium structure for me at the moment, just Macrae is M5 for me. Tend to agree with the assessment of the rookie landscape.

F5 the sticking point. Flanders currently occupies the spot, but not sure, fall short of Fyfe/Bruhn/Ziebell unless I make a cull of a Mackenzie/McLean to a cheaper option, or revert Neale back to Steele or further down to Green.
Ziebell for me at the moment but he's my ticket to cash if I do need it.

I don't hate the forward rookies as much as I love the premium options but I struggle to see any of them as clear starting options at the same time, like it's a good group for cash generation but they all look like they'll be very unreliable scorers.

I think Ginbey is the best at his price or below except for Constable and even that's debatable because Ginbey JS should be better. Constable will be great as long as he holds his spot but with 5 guys on the injured list at his position, he's far from safe to last more than a month.

Made some changes since my last post:
- I've decided I'm risking too much in the forward line.
- I'm not trusting Crozier to make strides.
- I'm afraid of Oliver being tagged hard over the first 3 games

DEF: Docherty, Saad, Ridley, Yeo, Ginbey, Constable // McKenna, Cincotta
MID: Oliver->Laird, Bont, Green, Hopper, Callaghan, Ashcroft, Mackenzie, Phillips // Baker, Davey, Phillipou
RUC: Marshall, Draper // Ratugolea
FWD: Dunkley, Rozee, Taranto, Allen->Ziebell, Fyfe, Flanders // Sheezel, Greene

Risks: two MID premo start and banking on Draper breakout

Should I try to squeeze Neale in the MID at the cost of two mid-pricers? Should I consider Setterfield at all? My concern is real lol
Ok gents, I think I've seen the light, until all the final squads are released, I'm going in with this lineup:

- I 100% agree with wogitalia in the Rucks thread, if Gawn flops, he's an easy bail at that price point.
- I may regret losing out on Ridley, but I've upgraded across the board.

My question to you all is: Dawson vs Sicily?

Have a very similar set up/structure, only 3 premos different.

Whoever suits your bye structure the most I'd imagine. I see both scoring similarly.

I wouldn't change it, great team and plenty of bail out options if needed. Fading Errol but still the option there to grab him, really good team.

Yeah exactly my thought process as well. I'm confident Gulden and Ridley will do as good as everyone thinks they will and I'm slightly gutted i'm choosing to miss those trains, but it's as you said, the bail out options in this stack will save me, if needed.

You decided on your R1/R2 situation yet NT?

Nice job mate, very similar to mine hence I was attracted to it straight away :), Sicily or Dawson? Sicily before Dawson for me but obviously you'll want both, depends on how tight your cash is and if you want any spare to start.

G’day fellas. Think I’m going to settle for something like this and appreciate any thoughts or advice. Obviously the glaring omission is Dunkley, but can’t seem to fit him in. Hopper seems to be a popular pick, but can’t stomach the idea of two tigers mids in my side given they’ve never been a particularly supercoach friendly midfield. 46.5k left in the bank. Cheers.

It's hard to see the upside to fading Dunkley. You would basically be relying on him getting injured.

I would drop a midfielder to bring him in.

If I downgrade Degoey to Setterfield, I can upgrade Cameron to Dunkley. Problem is, I really like both Degoey and Cameron as supercoach selections..
