GWS coach Adam Kingsley says important midfielder Harry Perryman will miss at least one week with a hamstring injury, joining two concussed stars on the sidelines.
Perryman was substituted early in the first quarter of the Giants’ stirring win over Adelaide, with the 24-year-old forced to look on alongside important duo Josh Kelly and Lachie Whitfield after the pair entered concussion protocols.
Kingsley said he expected the latter pair to be available for the Giants’ round 3 clash against Carlton.
Hmmm... in a real conundrum over Kelly, I missed the 2nd half of that game so haven't seen the incident. Can anyone elaborate on how badly he was concussed? If only missing 1 week I can't justify the trade, it is a concern about the long term lingering effects on him pending how big the impact was. His role that I saw in the first half was exactly what I wanted to see, he did have many kicks marked by the crows inside the Giants 50/ his efficiency was well down on what he normally delivers.
