OK Keeping Laird....... i think.....maybe.....dont know yet.

What about the trades

Hopper - Callaghan (M5)
Fyfe - Sheezel (F5)
Stocker - #35 (D3)

43K in the bank.
I only like Fyfe > Sheezel for this week tbh. Hopper to Cal seems decent, depends if you expect to have other fires to put out next week...

Kelly, Jones and Fyfe the concerns.
Sheezel, maybe Chandler, Worpel, a low 500k DEF (Young/Rioli) the targets
Jones a good matchup on paper if fit to play.
Kelly out means fielding Baker / Davey if holding.
Fyfe had Wilkie but it went beyond that.

Means 3-4 trades (Chandler essentially sideways)

Kelly > Worpel, Fyfe > Sheezel leaves 400k in kitty, seems excessive, even if only for a week.

Think Kelly > Worpel and use 2 or 3 with a boost if absolutely necessary next week(?)

Have gone Stewart to Daicos. Rest will depend on Jones. If he doesn't get up will downgrade him slightly to allow Hopper to De Goey....

Why not boost and turn Jones into a premium defender?

Thought about that, but would like to see how Jones performs, favourable match-up on paper, and am still undecided on the DEF target.
N Daicos, Young, Ridley and the one who I honestly like almost the best of the lot, D Rioli.
But absolutely an option, the first rage trade was a boost scenario, exactly this.

Might defer this decision to tomorrow pending if Jones is named and how Cowan goes as E.

But cooling on dropping Taranto/Rozee to improve D2, and warming on using a boost to drop hopper and fyfe to co-fund the premo.

If nothing else, I don't have to make a decision tonight in a panic so that's a win

O.Allen ~> Sheezel.
Easy trade with Oscar Allen injury risk at training making the decision for me out of Allen/Jones.

My trades will probably come down to how Cowan and Hollands go as E tonight.

If Hollands goes 70+ I’ll probably hold Kelly but otherwise looking at LDU, Green or De Goey.

Jones on the chopping block as well with Daicos, Young and Richards in the frame.

If I need to trade both a can afford Richards + any of the mid options..

I like Richards, pretty keen to get him in this week.

Yep, I have the E on Bruhn tonight for a potential Kelly trade. I'm really leaning towards holding for a few reasons, not least of which I think trades will be extremely valuable at the end of the season, more so than last year.

Yeah I tend to agree. Reckon we were a bit blessed last year in the back end, but if that changes teams could be hugely exposed in the run home if they go too hard early, or use too many “luxury” trades early.

The tricky thing with Kelly is it feels like it’s in the middle.. only 1 week but historically players returning from concussion have a flat 1-2 games so it feels like a 2-3 week one. On top of that he wasn’t a lock as a top 8 mid and carried some risk, so it feels different to someone like Laird who was picked as a season keeper.

Really hope our guys tonight can do enough to make the decision for us!
