Any reason not to do Stewart (already traded) to Daicos and Fyfe to Sheezel? Other problems are Chessar, Bytel, and B King.

I don't see anything wrong with that, Callaghan seems a very complete player for a 19 year old.
Wasted trade for mine Hopper can still make coin and score his 90
Seems to get injured a lot, and doesn't average very well historically, you'll probably wanna trade him out in 3 weeks?..lol
I am looking at Cox Had him in drafts and last year . Could get a lot of cheap kicks

I won't talk anyone out of Daicos, but I just really want to see him dominate another game before I move heaven and earth to bring him into my side.

Assuming Laird bounces back, I will only be able to choose 1 of Daicos or JHF. I will be watching Saturday's game closely.

Still can't make a call on the following:
Young
Redman
Rioli
Ridley
Daicos

Slightly leaning towards Rioli. Won't get tagged unlike Daicos. Majority of kick ins and finished 2022 in great form that seems to have kept going.

Probably have Daicos next, followed by Young then Ridley and as much as I don't mind the Redman pick I don't like watching him as much as the others.

Any insights at all to help me make a call in the next few minutes? haha
I would add Richards to that, liked the way he finished 2022 off and Cox

Only trade I'm contemplating is Jones to Phillipou (via Chesser def)
The only reason to do it is in case I need to make some drastic trades next week (ie Laird/Hopper if they stink again).
I know he has an easier game this week (more fantasy-friendly anyway) but he was pretty horrible for the half even before his injury, and the 70k saved would be pretty handy as well.

Thoughts either way?

I've traded Jones to Chandler to give me a better shot at selecting Bowes in round 4. Trouble is if Hopper performs I have no one currently to trade to him. So as much as I want hooper to bounce back I don't mind another under whelming game

Allen and Hopper to Pedlar and Horne Francis?
I think Hopper should be given another week to assess. I know the same was said about Bruhn and we know how that worked out 🤔, but I do have more confidence in Hopper coming good than I did about Bruhn.

FWIW, I'm going rouge and looking at Jelly and Greene to JHF and Ziebell to avoid Bruhn (E).

Not ideal, but Bruhn needs to go next week. My bench rookies have been relatively poor ( Rategulea, Greene, Cowan, Baker et al) so got to get some funds from somewhere.

Difference with waiting on Hopper is you KNOW he has the ability to average 95+ and have multiple scores over 100+.

Bruhn was much more of a risky watch as he doesn't have that history.

I'd be more inclined for a like for like, eg Dawson, Doch, Sic.
Just think of sliding down a razor using your balls as brakes.......

Nah, seriously, McGovern's durability is the reason why you'd look at starting him, just one trade to flick him out when injured. Bringing him in will cost 2 trades when the inevitable happens and you have to trade him out again. That being said, if you think he can stay on the park long enough to earn some coin then go for it.
It's a long way down and you don't have a parachute. Make wise choices.

Thanks for saving me from myself guys, I avoided M.McGovern but currently have his brother as a placeholder 😂 (could become Rich, Young or Ridley though).

That's a great point - hadn't looked at him in as much detail but his finish to last year was great. And unlike a few others, he only needs 22-27 touches to have really solid scores. Might have convinced me. Plus the savings on him means I can get Allen up to JHF this week as well if I feel i need the scoring.

Yeah I keep coming back to Rioli (if you already made your Stewart trade you can update it if you like).

The kid can play and is priced partially for his early season role last year which was down forward if I'm not mistaken? Richmond fans could back me up or correct me on that one. Like you said, he seems to get the kick ins and lets face it, pace, skills, playing off half back in 2023. There could be a few ppg in value there before his price rise. Thinking of going Doc > Rioli next week because he will be a POD next to the others you mentioned (I already have Young) and I still have points to make up on the leaders. Otherwise I couldn't afford him but he is well on the radar as a smokey
