​

Gerwyn Price wins night 7 in Nottingham with defeats of Clayton, Van den Bergh and Dobey. Dobey sensationally sent MvG packing to the tune of a bagel in the SF, but there would be no such repeat in the final.

The Banker takes nightly honours after captaining Price, with @KLo30 @Rowsus @THCLT @Connoisseur also selecting the winner.

A shuffle of the leaderboard now sees @Connoisseur hit the front, with @tso being edged out by countback, and @Rowsus jumping into the top 3 courtesy of countback over @Professor. @Rowsus and @KLo30 the first to jump across the 200 point barrier before the halfway mark of the Prem.

Couldn't remember exactly who I picked, but knew I'd done badly. Pretty much resigned to the PL being a poor result now unless I get lucky, so just having some fun with it.

I went back to check that. Lead Smith 5-0. Wow. Had Price 2-0 too.

Unselected by our field, but kind of hard given he lost 5 consecutive first round matches weeks 2-6 and was running into Smith.

Take it on. My results have been garbage for a month captaining Wright as well a couple of times.

Makes you appreciate when you have a small win.

Will I continue to fade MvG? Most likely...at the very least I won't be captaining him I suspect.

I know Professor had been picking him most weeks too. Bit of bad luck he dropped him for this round.

Well, picking the same players as the round before was always likely to end in failure again, I knew that. At least Peter got it to a deciding leg. Nice 150 checkout from MVG to finish it.

Gezzy wins Newcastle and goes back to back on night wins, demolishing MvG 6-1 with a 115 avg. @Connoisseur and @blue dreamer win the night courtesy of selecting Dobey on home soil. 5 follow them with the same team to finish just behind, and The Banker nabs Price captain for a 2nd straight week but still finishes the night in 8th...tough crowd

Over to the leaderboard where @Connoisseur still leads @tso, with @Rowsus still in 3rd. Countbacks separating the top and 3rd positions again.
