Strategy 2023: Round 3 Trades

Rather than just calling it a rage trade, have we already seen enough already to accept that Darcy was a failed pick?
Last week if IIRC he had a massive last qtr to get to a half respectable 96. This week he was absolutely putrid, looked non existent and didn’t even care.
We all knew that Jackson coming in would have an impact, but don’t think anyone expected it to pan out like last night where Jackson took majority of the ruck in first half. Is it time to accept that maybe the Jackson impact is going to be more than we thought?
At this moment, Darcy seems to be my obvious avenue to get in Daicos by trading him to Darcy Cameron. However, the only thing that’s making me 2nd guess, is if Darcy was to bounce back and go huge, it would be against a ruck less WCE…

Have now watched the replay of the Freo v North game. Jackson certainly rucked far more than I expected & Darcy certainly looked lost as a fwd. He just didn’t look engaged at all, dropping easy marks & fumbling … wasn’t the Darcy I saw play v Ade & Port in the preseason games at all.
Cameron on the other hand looked amazing, so mobile around the ground & competes well in the ruck.
Early thoughts are :-
Darcy > Cameron
Bruhn > Chandler (Cogs to the fwd line, Chandler fwd bench)
Jones > Daicos
Daicos is a must, Jones another scare last night going off for a head knock. Seen enough of him to jump off & get the young gun in with the perfect SC game.

Rightly or wrongly, I think I have to give Darcy another couple of opportunities. He was disgusting and probably deserves to be dropped based on what we saw yesterday, but we also all know what he can do when he’s on.
Freo have lost two games now and haven’t looked themselves across the board. Think when they sort their proverbial out, we might see a better Darcy as well.

Daicos an in, can be any rookie up using the cash from Jelly to McKenna.
Contemplating Cameron in. Could be for Flandereses, but would need to go Goater to Chandler probably. Would be tight coin wise.
So potentially -
Out: Flandereses, Jone5, Goater
In: Daicos, Cameron, Chandler
