I wonder if some of the talk is a bit of a tactic designed to discourage others from also starting the same "POD" player, probably not.
Nonetheless, being gullible and naïve I took this injury fear onboard and started with Gawn, then replaced him with Cameron who now has to be replaced with English so let that be a lesson...although, I am cursed.
I better get Witts then not English:love:

So as someone who routinely posts about one option I've been looking at and ending up with another, I have worried that I've been perceived that way, but really what I'm doing is using the forum to talk out my thoughts. Often my considered thoughts work out better than the snap decision I make five minutes before a lockout, so you'd think I would have learned by now!

Don’t worry, I think we’ve all been there at some point. I felt a bit awkward when I discussed Setterfield’s tough run from rd5, but then ended up with him because of the cash gen. Sometimes we suck up our pride and end up with someone we originally didn’t think we would.

The whole point of these threads is to discuss thoughts and ideas and options. That is what makes this site as good as it is. Keep posting and don't worry about anyone else.

Thoughts on Oscar and Lycett? How did they look? I mean Oscar is in his prime now right?

Lycett should not warrant any consideration. Poor hitout to advantage rate and he has attended the fourth most ruck contests this season. Very low kick to handball ratio and his influence around the ground in marking contests is close to non existent (averaging 0.3 marks).

Anyone else with Grundy planning something silly, like a cash grab with a player like Phillips or Soldo?

I think freeing up a few hundred k has some merit if it looks like a) Essendon persist with their two ruck combo or b) that Richmond look to get Soldo rucking asap, as long as he's fit & healthy.

I'd love GC to just come out and say they stuffed up with Witts and his back and are going to spell him till the second half of the year to get him healthy so I can go straight down to Moyle.
