Simmo mentioned on AFL 360 that there are 2 unnamed Eagles likely to miss between 4-8 weeks each pending scans.

It seems Chesser is looking like one of those and I wouldn't be surprised if Oscar Allen is the other. His knee looked sore late in the game.

I had already conditioned myself to the fact it was going to be a difficult year, I just want to see some genuine improvement from the young kids now... and then hit the draft hard again.
The way Ryan's knee kept buckling every time he tried to jump or even kick I'd be shocked if he doesn't have some major issues there. If he escaped with anything less than 8 weeks the way it looked that would be a fantastic result.

I feel for the guy, but come on, I wouldn't have started him, had I known.
I too wouldn't have started Docherty if I knew he had an interrupted preseason.

So what now, keep him and hope he recaptures his form, or do a correction trade?
I'm leaning to doing a correction trade, so as not to drop further down the ranking.

His possession numbers are fine so he is still getting the ball, his ratio on the weekend was terrible 136:87 (DT:SC), agree ideally we would have had this info before season started, but we did not.

I for one have way bigger problems to sort out, so I will just stick with him for the moment and ride it out, I'm not sure if there are too many better DEF options (Stewart maybe), so unless you are going up to a must have MID (Oliver/Laird), I'm not sure it is worth the trade unless you have no other 'major' issues to deal with.

Does anyone have any idea of the 2 remaining WC players that Simpson is talking about that finished the game on the ground but will most likely now miss 4-8 weeks?

I may, may not have started Doch either but that said I may, may not have started Tom Stewart as a result.
Could've would've should've
Wasn't it annoying for the teams that started Tom Stewart to see him play on the weekend after only missing 1 game when we were told he'd miss at least 3-4 games? I know I would of kept him if I knew he was only going to miss 1 game. Don't think his price will drip too much now after his 160+ score on the weekend?

He must be in the same rehab club that Tom Hickey hangs around in. Some magic juice or what going on there o_O

I think all of Shuey, Cripps, McGovern, Ryan, Chesser are out long term (4+). Witherden concussion. Other possible is Allen who grabbed his knee but played it out.

My beloved Cats might be fighting it out with you guys for the #1 pick.
