Swans v Hawks, were we watching the same game?
His role seemed fine in round 2 when he went forward, the goalsquare antics seemed to start this week.
I was looking out for him during both games - I did not see him sitting in the goal square unless he was playing forward when there was an inside 50 stoppage close to goal.

Congratulations on such a brilliant start to the year!
great squad… I don’t think you need to change too much …Oliver stands out as the missing link for you..

my two trades would be:

Worpel to Buckley ( via Ginbey)

Bont up to Oliver….

The additional 20-30 points per week you gain will hold you in good stead…
BucKelly averaging 91 and has a low breakeven so will grow cash at a faster rate than Worpel at present
If you wanted to partake in obvious trolling surely other sites are more suited to do so.

Selecting a midpricer in your starting team gives the benefit of taking a punt on a player who could potentially be a premium (or at least an easy 0.5-1 trade up to a premium) or, if they fail, trade down to a missed rookie. With Worpel, he only has a b/e of 50, has scored 97, 99 and 47 and there is no obvious rookie most coaches missed over the last 2 weeks so you would be forcing a trade.

I don't see his price decreasing over the coming weeks so it's a case of seeing how scores over that period and waiting to either trade down to a worthwhile rookie on the bubble or using to trade up to an early premium.

Think I will hold Cameron this week (can field Chandler).

Allows another look at Brockman , Bytel (maybe) , Pickett & Van Rooyen etc.

Another round to assess Dawson/Sicily/Sinclair/Stewart and/or wait to see if any of Macrae , Petracca , Smith etc get DPP after Round 5.

Toyed with trading Docherty out but will stick with him.

Thanks for that Macca....Oliver is definitely a target, just wasn't sure how to do it.....good option will certainly consider it

great start, and great looking team. The only trade I would consider in your position is worpel to hopper, and that's line ball. Do you reckon hopper makes an extra 100k than worpel from here? If yes, do it. Otherwise no.

Wouldn't do anything else. Hold fire so you can afford to be super aggressive in a couple of weeks.

The only way I can get N. Daicos, without trading out a premo, is to trade Makenzie.
I'm thinking of doing it I have heaps of other cash making rookies such as L.Jones, McKenna , Wilmot Constable ,Baker , Ashcroft, Phillips, Long, Davey Sheezle, Chandler and Camenti.

Not your only way apparently. :)

McKenna might be close to being able to do it too, as he's not far off Mackenzie's price.

Firstly congrats in your start. I don't think you need to do too much here, maybe consider Worpel>Hopper but I think it's not a necessary move.
It's good having a def/mid link but Chesser out for around 6 weeks so maybe consider Chesser to Phillips and move Constable into defence if named, he has a -52 be and should make some good cash.

if Philipps not named consider Rowston, haven't watched much GWS myself but a few here have said he's looking impressive.

Maybe Ratagolea>Van Rooyen next round even though it removes your Ruck/fwd link.

Overall all the best on continuing your run,I think you have a good team and the key is to keep the cash generation going so you can upgrade your team quicker.

An option could be
Out: D Cameron and L Jones
In: H Rowston (via Dunkley)/early on fwd rookie and J Dawson/J Sicily/T Stewart
I see 12 keepers there….with the luxury of Dunkley in the mids could you swing him forward and go Cameron to LDU?
would need to make a downgrade to a rookie to have the cash but would be well worth it….

other than that you have strong depth on the field and bench …
Don't mind both options. Think Cameron to LDU would be ideal, but not sure where I'd find the cash in defence. Could always bring Constable back in for LDU... lol.

Nah that’s not worth it. Too sideways surely.
I also have Young. In the bits of freo games I’ve seen he’s looked ok to the eye so far, but likes to position in the defensive side of the centre square corridor when ball coming out. Unless they use the corridor he gets bypassed every time. I don’t like it. But he’s not going that bad that you’d sideways him.

I think it’s justifiable to trade him to one of those 600k guys though, if you have the cash. I can’t find that cash without a bit of butchering unfortunately so he’s a hold for me.
I'm ever so slightly tempted by Young > Stewart but I'm 38k short.

Seems like a waste of two trades.

Gulden: You'd have to be absolutely certain that he won't be anywhere near the top 6 forwards, and this is the time to jump off.

Pedlar: One week. Still has money to make. If there were a must have rookie I could understand it, but Caminiti isn't it; and he only injects $50k.

Oliver: Buying at peak price is almost never a good idea. Sure, has a good run and could beat us up, but has been rather modest in his scoring against us in the past.
I'm really trying to talk myself out of this for this exact reason. Correcting DCam and considering a sideways on Neale... Another 150+ from Oliver just feels like such a missed opportunity.

Agreed but I have 240k that can get me to LDU. Breakout trumps midpricer IMV
