Thoughts on Michalanney? Currently 244k. Last 2 games 82 & 103.

This is the same price that Callaghan started, and if he had gone 82 & 103 in his first 2 games, everyone would be jumping on. Does that logic hold for Michalanney now?

I feel ive missed the boat with him. I didn’t start him or mckenna. I was contemplating with another 100 trades i want to do this week move Jones and cole to michalanney and McKenna but i feel the ship has sailed.

Comes down to how many trades you have left, how many upgrades need to be done and how many injury trades you're budgeting for. Only JVR on the bubble this week, Williams and Humphrey next week, all teams are carrying rookies that haven't maxxed out yet and need another 2 weeks to start culling. Unless there's a couple of rookies debuting this week then there's going to be very slim pickings for teams to downgrade to.

Yeah… I’ll just bite the bullet and get English in for Nank. At least if he gets injured he’s not a POD and others have the same issue. Contemplated Samson Ryan at R2, which left me with 496k ITB but I couldn’t justify trading anyone else other than Doc/Ridley to Naicos, but that would still leave me with about 400k which is just a waste.

Any 123k mid rookies on the horizon for Week 6?

Am doing a few sums and I might have just enough to turn Hopper & Ashcroft into Touk and a 123k mid rook.

Punting Doc for Day. Made my opinions on the old stalwart clear enough and am happy to roll the dice on the in form up and coming kid

Going a couple of weeks early on Cowan too and picking up Kozzy. Hoping for 90s and maybe another spike or two.

Leaves me really open down back for a week. With Carlton playing on Thursday I won't know if Ginbeys getting rested and will have to hope either he or Constable covers D6. It's abrisk but Cowan has shown himself likely to cover only 50 points. Hebhas another 50 or so k to make. Would rather take the punt on Pickett.

Will let JVR go. Not sure he is worth a boost and my rookies need to moo some more. I have non playing rookies in Chesser and Constable but can't get them out for JVR this week. Think that they might still come in handy anyway

Day might be suspended?? Trusting not as I have him.... but his tackle on Close will be looked at no doubt!

Doesn’t look like it. Only ones I can see for mid rookies are Hewett (137k, BE20) if he performs next week, Humphrey (184k, R1 39), Luke Edwards (193k, R1 68). We desperately need some downgrade options to appear.

Might have to swing a JHF or Rozee into the mids for a little while, but that would mean running Chandler at F5 plus another rook at F6 for a few weeks.

It’s why I think I’m going to jump early to bring in JVR and move on Phillipou, Phillipou looking every bit the 60 Ave plod rookie, will still probably go up another $30-40k from here short term but he’s already at a +20 B/E so it feels like the right time to jump off, unlock some cash and get JVR in, considering playing downgrade options down the track look a bit thin.

Great post. Would cost me 160k to turn Hayden Young into Dawson, or 112k to turn him into Stewart.

As much as I'd love to do it, it seems far too luxurious at this stage of the season. Feel like I might be better off hoping he can get back to 90-95 scoring.

112k to Stewart for say ~20 PPG? better scoring is somewhat justified, but still difficult to find that cash this early into the season.
