Need to make a decision in witts. Held on to him last week (missed the resting news) and not sure if i hold again and cop the donut or trade to someone like grundy or marshall
I quite like the handcuff with Moyle.. at least until there is some certainty around what Witts’ prognosis is. Takes away the stress of a late out or it dragging on if you know you’ve got one or the other. Moyle could make you some good cash if Witts continues to miss too.

After posting earlier in the week that not trading seemed like the best option, Doc happened.

This is what I've landed on. Prefer Touk over Neale and probably prefer Ryan over JVR.

A: 1 trade: Doc to Touk - 29k ITB
B: 2 trades: Doc to Oliver, Allen to Ryan, 91k ITB
C: 3 trades: Doc to Stewart, Allen to JVR, Hopper to Neale - $800 leftover
D: 3 trades: Doc to Duncan, Allen to JVR, Hopper to Oliver - $900 leftover

Thoughts?

I like Doch to Touk out of those options. Neale and Duncan, I'd like to see a greater body of good work before trading in - Neale is still overpriced on current form. My second preference is the two trade option, even if going early on trading out Allen.

Thanks mate. Yeah that was the option i initially landed on but started fiddling because i'm a degenerate :giggle:

It's not having Oliver that's messing with me. That and not being entirely convinced that Hopper is a better option than a rookie (or upgraded) so figure if i'm gonna upgrade him, i might as well do it now.

The problem which was probably evident from my options is that I'm just short of the top shelf players I should be targeting. It would be nice not to have to deal with an injury, burning through trades going nowhere.

He’s good enough to have a 110+ average season IMO. Will be the usual rollercoaster with key forwards though obviously.
Who was the last actually forward to ave a 110 for the entire season?
Buddy? Johnno Brown?
Id still bet Cameron lands around the 90-95 season ave.

That backline is super thin. Given you have 4 mid premiums (including Macrae) + Setterfield, I'd move Chesser to the mids so you can loop Baker + Mackenzie, leave Constable in the backs to loop Cowan + Wilmot, and forego Liberatore for Dawson.
Ferrit is right, backline thin.

Could you solve your issue by bringing T Young for Davey instead of JVR, one extra backline rookie. Love Libba pick, Duncan ok.

Starting to think for me, Doc>Dawson. Worpel>Libba and Amartey > JVR.

Had consider Doc>Saad and Amartey>Kozzie

Don't love JVR pick, but does feel Petty is the tall forward that needs to come out of fwd line. Cannot afford Samson, unless I go Gulden over Libba.

Anyone have a view on Dylan Williams, small forward playing back line if JVR not picked?

I don't like Florent as a pick, could you still get Pickett if you went Lloyd instead?
Whats wrong with florent? Everything pointing to a breakout…. Playing a good role and scoring well. Taking some kick ins. He was a first round draft pick.

wouldn’t put florent in the very top tier of SC defenders, i would be putting him in the category of baker, redman that bracket of players.

He is a safe pick but he will never get back to the days he was a elite SC defender. The likes of florent and the lizard taking his points. Sharing kick ins with 3-4 players when he use to take nearly everyone.
Would you rate him higher than Florent though? I actually don't mind a safe pick with Naicos and Dawson already in my team.

Other than moving on Doc, probably just Chesser to T Young. Looks like young has some short term job security at least so happy to let him tick away in the background.
