Now the problem for Dawson/Laird VC people is, the score you're getting off your bench, to lock in the donut as C.
My wife has Laird VC
Cowan (42) E on the Def bench, no good.
Hollands (64) E on the Mid bench. To lock it in, it means benching Mackenzie. If Mackenzie goes 90, and he could with Day out and a potential role change, you are giving up 26 points, to lock in 134. That seems disadvantageous.
Chandler (YTP) on the Fwd bench. But the decision on Hollands needs to be made before Chandler plays, as Davey is the donut.

So, locking in Lairds 135 means either:
Locking in Hollands 65, and hoping Mackenzie doesn't go big.
Or
Ignoring Hollands, and hoping Chandler (and Mackenzie) goes well enough as you've locked his score in over Hawthorn's Greene.

Will probably do the 2nd one. Prolly.
Luckly I've got Madden to be the fall guy.
Just hope my Rucks hold up for the weekend. o_O

Those locking on Dawson/Laird, what Rookie score is handcuffed to that decision?
Now that there is the problem. I have Constable but have the E on Gowan plus the risk of Constable being an emergency and suddenly playing.
I can trade back in Davey, but I would have to trade out Finn Callaghan and I would like to keep him. Sometimes it is good to write things down, might as well just go with Gowan's 42 🤔

There does seem to be a disproportionate number of not only Dawson owners, but Dawson VC people on this site.

Anyone with SC Gold have his ownership % (was 17.5% last week), and his VC/C numbers?
Not many non-Dawson/Laird owners will post scores tonight, makes it very disproportionate, just the way it goes for some

I've never considered Marvel neutral for Melbourne.
At one stage we won something 1 game in 30 there.
Fair point, there's a different case for each team. I was trying to simplify it for the sake of my point. For example, Carlton will have 5-6 "home" games against other Melbourne sides and 5-6 "away" games against other Melbourne sides. Whether each game is actually home, away or neutral would depend on the opposition and venue, but it would typically balance out across the year, although it will never be perfect.

Over time it will balance itself out.
Starting in Adelaide, next year say...WA, then QLD, eventually Melbourne.

Captain Witts for me (Moyle on the bench). I'd take Hollands score to get the VC (if I didn't have Witts), with Baker coming off the field.
