Not liking the betting company advertising on the SC oval.
I mentioned this was bound to happen a couple of years ago and was shouted down.
It's just so pervasive. Needs to be reined in. Was already too much before.
I noticed this today and also find it off putting along with all the betting stuff in fixture list. AdBlock got rid of most of it 🙂

This guy shouldn't have bothered really, pretty terrible and highly forgettable, the best place for this music would be in a non-existent void.
A lot of Rhett Bartlett's posts are like that. Every now and then there's an interesting one.

Showing my age here but its kinda hard to explain how huge & different Champs & the Coodabeens were in 80s. Such a different time & very little VFL coverage apart from WOS on Sundays.

Perhaps a tad biased because I won the quiz a couple of times, made a mess of those Lobster Cave vouchers.

Punter to punter,Coodabeens & Lawyers Guns & Money back to back on RRR.
Some serious careers launched amongst them.

Reckon ChatGPT would have made better decisions than me so far...
I asked Chat GPT when Tom Stewart was returning (prior to him returning), and they said they didn't have any up to date info on sports, and no new knowledge has been captured since November last year...I think we may be a while a way from that

Since it receives no coverage whatsoever in Australian sports media, I thought I would quickly note that Australian snooker player Neil Robertson has won his second Masters title this morning. He defeated Barry Hawkins after overcoming a final frame thriller against Mark Williams in the Semi Finals (see below) and defeating the GOAT Ronnie O’Sullivan in the quarter finals. He has now won at least one professional title in every calendar year since 2006 thus extending his streak to 17 years (21 career titles).

Just a lazy two 146 breaks in the opening round of the World Championships for Aussie Neil Robertson.

In Adelaide, turned on the TV and this thing called Footy Classified is on. I think my 3 most hated journos in the game are Hutchy, Carowhine and Kane Cornes and low and behold, all three appear right in front of me, RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME!

And then there’s Lloyd.

Quoting Hutchy, there’s a lot to unpack there.

Four excellent reasons not to watch it ;)

The resort the family and I stayed at recently in NSW hosted the 1989 Billiards World Championships. The two tables are still there and available to play on. I played those tables for a week, they are big and there is no forgiveness if your shot is slightly off target. Lot of respect for the skill these players have!
