So what are those with Oliver VC and English in your team doing?
Torn between taking the score or staying with skipper English in the wet…

must admit his history against the power isn’t flash ( possibly why I’m sitting on the fence)
Gotta luv Oliver he's just awesome, SC Gold, pity everybody has him , but so be it.

Original plan was English VC and Marshall C if required, but having bought Oliver in this round I changed to VC him, but sadly he didn't quite make the cut this week.
Still reckon Marshall could go pretty okay but it's hard to bet against English, so English it is...no guts no glory!
Should have picked Dawson but didn't expect him to have the energy for two big scores in a row.

Those rare few have the Golden ticket, as they say! Gotta play by the CD game plan and that may or may not relate to any rules publicly stated by CD :p

I'm staying with English, 120 has to be the minimum! Most had Dawson, Darcy and the like as VC.
AS a Saints man can't go with Naicos :p
What about going Marshall for Captain vs no Pies Ruckmen? (Assuming you have Marshall?)

The thing with Oliver (and as an owner I don't care), but that match was over, so would have expected down scaling of everything in the last quarter?
Yeah was heavily downscaled in the last only 50sc from:
20 touches, 14 effective, 14 contested, 4 intercept possessions, 1 goal assist, 4 inside 50’s, 3 free kicks, 2 clangers (both from free kicks against in the forward half)

That’s usually a 70-80 quarter.

With Gawn likely back next week, it looks as though JVR is safe with Brown injured and McDonald absolutely abhorrent today.
Gawn back next week is not ideal. I'd rather he had a few more weeks to rest up, get his knee right and let Grundy max out :)

But they missed him today. I'm not sure but I'd rather see Grundy spend more time in the ruck contests and Gawn forward which I think certainly today would've made a big difference.

I was exactly the same with Dawson! Thought the masses might jump on chasing last weeks points and felt he wouldn’t go as well as he did…was surprised he wasn’t tagged…

But his services are greatly needed over the next month against formidable opposition facing one of (if not the most) brutal draw this season and any loss could be catastrophic in spelling the end of finals hopes for the Demons this season. Thus it is paramount he returns no matter what and as soon as possible given they cannot continue to wheel out such a subpar ruckman.
