If any of the top tier players this year get to any price like that I would seriously consider trading them and using the cash to strengthen My premium coverage
I have tried this 5 times in the past. 2 were successes, 1 a break even, and 2 were disasters.

Went close to doing something like that 6 or 7 years ago when Kade Simpson made it to 600k. This was back when being 600k actually meant something and there was no way he was worth that long term. Figured a downgrade to a recovering premium netted me 150k for no change to my premo count. No different to a rookie upgrade.

Chickened out though. Really should have proceeded with it as he didn't maintain that price
I think that might have been 2014.
After Round 11 he was $594,200 after starting the season with 10/109.2
After that Round he went 12/84 finishing the season at 95.4. His price got as low as $421,800.
Definitely a good example of where this could be tried. Priced at close to 120, and his career best to that stage was just below 100.

I have 3 rules I like to apply, if I am going to do this.
Must be at least $90-$100k+ overpriced.
Must have a large BE in case things go pear shaped, and you need to trade them back in.
Must be able to immediately turn the gained cash into another Prem, with use of only one trade.
