Last year Sam Walsh averaged 55% CBA attendance. Last week in his return game, he attended just 39% of CBAs but this week was in 83%.

Do any blues fans have an opinion on whether he'll keep going at ~80% CBAs or whether his numbers will be up and down as he rotates between the centre and the wing?

If he goes at ~80% CBAs, I feel he's an urgent trade in at 610k. If not, he'll still be a great pick but there will be little value at the price point.

S Walsh
CBA 80%+:
2021-2023= 6/44

Is there a significant correlation between his disposals, contested possessions or supercoach scoring with an increase in centre bounce attendances? Also, given his game style and the inherent limitations of placing too much importance on CBA, does it matter for S Walsh?

Very tempting to change tack & trade out Kossie Pickett instead of Ashcroft in getting Will Day, but I just have to keep looking at the Dees' draw up to his bye and keep willing myself to stay the course:

Rd 7. North (MCG)
Rd 8. GC (QLD)
Rd 9. Hawks (MCG)
Rd 10. Port (AO)
Rd 11. Freo (MCG)
Rd 12. Carl (MCG)
Rd 13. Coll (MCG)

Going back to start of 2021, above 70% CBA's Sam Walsh averages 118.9. Based on 15 games out of a possible 42 games.

edit 118.4 from 17 games out of 42 possible.

Matthew Kennedy and Ed Curnow have been the ins and out over last two years for CBA's. Both had zero in last game. Carlton looks like they prefer 4 mids rotating.

I would give him a bit of time to see how the back settles into playing footy again first.

Think if you’ve put up with him the past two rounds, you may as well hold and hope he rewards you. Especially if you’ve burnt through trades thus far.

I think there may be many people trading the beard in around Round 9 perhaps, with Goldy and Witts coming up, his price should be pretty nice about that time. Only trouble is I have Grundy. Think i will ditch Grundy this week and play rat at r2 until the return of Gawn, to my team.

This makes sense. Grundy was out of it until Gawn went forward. Won’t happen every match. Via Teakle, Ryan, Esava, Blicavs, speculator or floating donut? Or are you like me a rolling both Ryan and Esava (F6)?

Food for thought, might have to wait a week as I have Miller and Roberts to deal with.

Haha omg, got Touk a couple weeks ago, thought it was a great move - about time I copped some of that premo injury carnage, managed to dodge it mostly so far. Anyhoo. Rd 7 trades include Out Touk and NFI who in yet.
(still trying to get over Bombers giving up a 5goal lead at 3/4 time today - I was pessimistic to start the day, then prematurely optimistic, then shattered - watching footy sure is a rollercoaster, funny game - also, just when I thought the Pendles and Sidey nightmares were finally in their twilight, up pops a Daicos to haunt us for the next decade plus)

You too huh?

I keep seeing the same thing: big potential for some spikes. Or maybe I'm just wildly and foolishly optimistic.

What I will do is make sure I'm running him as a loop against whoever I have on the bench...
