I genuinely thought big O was an option with Fort not selected r1 as well. Tough march this week, next week he averages better. It’s upgrade season and you need to be doing that if possible. The nearest trick is prolly Gawn in a week two. Ryan should still make cash and Teakle if he holds his spot could be better cash cow though. Soldo 1 to two weeks and Nank 3 to 5 so Ryan has a bit more rucking to come, then Lynch stilll out so JS is okay. Prolly doesn’t have the time to guarantee a 100k rise but it could happen. I think you need to suck up this weeks score and look to Teakle and Gawn. Or Wait for an English down game to roll through his price! Good luck
Owner and been a little suspect in him, from memory had a couple of games where it took until the last Q to get his score humming. Interesting matchup this week, might get the Captain armband for me. He’s not teir 1 Oliver like, but next in that I’m trying to be top 8 material. Walsh intrigues me as well. Started better than expected…
Only have one boost left, so I am keeping that this round. Have so many issues to fix. Don't know where to start, but this is the best I can come up with so far
McKenna > Mitchell
Touk > Walsh
Considering my form of late, I have nothing to lose in going for a POD in Walsh.
Who are the top 6 defenders? Already have Daicos, Stewart & Dawson. Looking at Ryan, Sicily & Sinclair. Could probably throw Saad into that group as well. Does Day make the cut?
Considering a boost for Wilmot or Pou to Wagner to bank 200k for next week thou im not 100% sold on his JS and dont need another dead rookie on the bench.
Grundy owners - tough week. My options are another week on Grundy and hope he doesn't drop too much, go back to Gawn, find cash and buy a premium priced English that just keeps producing, sideways to a roller-coaster being Darcy or cash to Teakle and upgrade elsewhere to an Oliver type.
I think I'm still on tilt from the weekend's results and using the forum to vent crazy trade plans... so I hopefully don't end up making them in real life.
The ins are the easy bit this week - Day and Mitchell.
The issue is how to fund it.
Given the rookie troubles at the moment I'm not inclined to let Ashcroft or Ginbey go yet, and Sheezel gets one more go to see if the role comes back. That leaves the following realistic options:
McKenna (BE 62)
Callaghan (unsure BE but should be around 20)
Hollands (BE 31)
Phillips (BE 45)
Wilmot and Cowan would also appear here but that doesn't give me enough in combination with any of the above.
Probably wait to see if Phillips is named and go from there.
Probably a double down next week so the real riff raff can go then.
