My thoughts on the Cowan sub situation is that he won’t be sub.

Carlton have named 8 defenders (Doc, McGovern, Saad, Newman, Weitering, Kemp, Young, Cincotta) so I don’t see why they would pick him as sub. If a Forward/Mid/Ruck is injured or tactically subbed then they would have 9 defenders. Matt Kennedy can play Mid, HF or HB if required and is much more suited to being a sub.

I look at things like this and it just confuses me more. I have according to that 16 premo/keepers. Similar team value. Have all of daicos, bont, clarry, laird, English. 12.2 million team value with day or sinclair to come in. Yet 13,000 places behind losing ground every week lol

Now I do get why I'm behind. Things like starting and losing value on docherty. Missing daicos R1, R2 scores etc. A bad Laird captain choice. Still the gap seems excessive. Lol.

Things like... selecting Marshall over English. That's 233 points.
Picking Laird over Oliver. That's 69 points.
Bad Captain choices... probably 200 points.
Bad Rookie choices... probably 200 points.

But these things can swing very quickly. English might get injured and then that point difference disappears.

If your behind, don't be afraid to pick non standard picks. You'll never make up ground selecting the same as everyone ahead of you.
