See a few liking Walsh, one good rule to follow, if no preseason just say no, especially at full price. But Walsh if anyone could be the exception to the rule.
Was throwing up bringing in Cincotta early... But just can't do it... Can't get burnt doing that again.
Will have to go Sturt... Reluctantly.. too many forward rookies now. Thankfully Greene looks like he could go pretty soon.
Going Cowan McKenna and Roberts (out for 8 to 10 confirmed by swans) and bringing in Will Day (again), Sammy Mitchell (S.Mitchell is sam... I won't let anyone tell me otherwise) and Sturt.
Keeping Wilmot but looping. Hopefully pulls out a 70... And I'll play him over Sammy
Anything could happen but JVR plays North, and IMO they did not look for JVR at all v the tigers and he had to rely on big pack marks. I think after his dominate last qtr Melbourne will have more confidence in him and look for him more, hopefully he can actually get a couple of easier possies with marks on a lead.
This was posted in the DPP thread, some suggestion the percentage of time spent in defence may decrease when back line reinforcements arrive...but I am certainly no expert on the matter
Those few of us who didn't take @Ben's Beasts advice and traded Pickett in anyway, is it time for him to go? I can trade him and a rookie out for Oliver (too early?) and Mitchell. It's disappointing Pickett's probably lowest 2 scores are while I owned him.
I feel like he would get rested during the year, especially as we get closer to finals. Having said that, he has a very appealing bye, but not sure it's enough to o***et the risk. Could go huge against a tired Essendon this week though.
The bleak rookie horizon and the uncertainty of starts + dead rookies makes me think I should keep one of McKenna or Wilmot at least.
Will have to come up with a different plan.
Definitely not for me, round 3 would have been the time when he was $451k but that would have been a very brave call after a 61 & 85 to start the season. The worry might be if he starts playing a more forward/mid role again
