Pickett was first out of my side after lockout but I then had a good think about it. That draw he has over the next few weeks is tailor made for a small forward to cash in and look a million bucks.

Thing is though that even if he does hit some hundreds, he's got that god-awful 16 sitting there for 2 more rounds, ensuring that we won't be making me cash, which is what he has to do. He's not a keeper. He's a stepping stone. And let's face it, he's no guarantee of hitting those tonnes (until I trade him out)

So ok... Kozzi's gone.

LDU got injured a while back. I toyed with the idea of holding him for 2 weeks in the hope that Oliver can flatten out a bit more but it's too much to be holding on the bench. Gawn

We have an expression in my house: "Never trust a Robert. Or a Robbie or a Rob or a Bobby or a Bob". Bobby Hill's ok because his real name is Ian. Anyway... shouldn't have trusted Roberts. Gonski.

Incoming, I've been after Day for a while and Cogs has hopefully bottomed out. Will be interesting to see how Green returning affects his scoring but I'll punt on him hitting his hundreds from here on out. Smitch is the no-brainer rookie that feells awfully trappy after last week's silliness.

So:
Roberts, Pickett, LDU
Smitch, Day, Cogs

$224k in the bank and it leaves me another week to decide on Michelanney, McKenna, Wilmot and Pou. 2 of them to go to Cincotta and maybe Clarry next week

Trying to work out whether to hold LDU and hope it's a one week reset or just bite the bullet. I think if Laird is no good I'll have to move one of them on but ideally we'd know that before any games kick off tomorrow...

Think I'll keep the ins the same (Mitchell/Day) which should give me a shot at Oliver next week...

I am resigned to upgrading rookies around him at the present and hoping for another spike score in the meantime.
It's a good approach. The net premium effect is the same, his price is unlikely to drop and you leave the opportunity open forn him to provide more value.

This is my strategy for injured premiums as well. The only caveat is this works well when there are only 2 trades available but with the boost, it opens you up to potentially falling behind. I still think it is the better way to look at trading.

After some thought I’ve changed my two upgrades from Macrae/Sinclair to Ziebell/Serong. Still some deliberation to be done over the Ziebell/Sinclair before KO today
Makes sense even a basic level using their BE's. Ziebell and Serong have much lower BE's than Sinclair who may not even reach his BE this week.

Brought Day in 3 weeks ago as a POD, that's working out well. Not!

I'll hold LDU this week, have an opportunity to bring Clarry in and use Dutchy as cover. Who knows what curve balls next week will deliver though.

Cowan out, won't be coming back soon I'd reckon with Saad and Doc in, Cincotta next week if it stacks up this week.
Mackenzie out, thats $18k lost on that thought bubble I had last week that he'd bounce back and have a spike game or 2 or 3 or...!!
In comes Day, if he keeps his role from prior to the rest he'll do alright.
And Smitch, someone needs to make me some cash!

Played around with the boost, Harry Himmelberg was a choice, but I want some data from this week first before I pull the trigger there, Callum Brown in, is he a like for like to Taylor?
Another was Sheezel :p he has made $240K, I felt Hall in would impact on his or Z'Bell's scoring. Hall took 5 kick ins and Sheezel none last week.
Had a Holman tag, played forward(?) and was a little banged up, with LDU and Phillips out this week I reckon that was Sheezel's rest game :p
So its either Sheezel or Hall getting mid time (I hope) and either way Sheezel gets back to scoring 100's!
