Is Sam Sturt's job security legit?

Yeah I'm struggling to decide if he's the next best option after Seamus Mitchell or is it better to go early on 1 of Alex Cincotta, Sam Simpson, Ryan Angwin or Brynn Teakle instead. You can't fit them all in over the next fortnight.

(You can probably throw Dylan Williams into the mix too)

Very precarious week or two for downgrades.

Mitchell is locked in I think, especially because he can link with Z and Sheez.

I really liked the look of Cincotta.

Agree - I really don't want to stuff this one up either after the Matt Roberts debacle.

Getting real Tom Highmore vibes from this pick. If he plays through the byes like Highmore did I'll call it a win!

As a Constable owner i hate to say it but i think it will take a couple of injuries to non-key defenders for him to get back, i don;t think dominating the VFL every weeke is enough. He did that all of last season and never got a go, he has also done it again this season since being dropped and isn't even an emergency. Dew doesn't seem to rate him, i assume because of his disposal quality given he gets plenty of it,

I can't believe we all missed these 3 at the expense of starting Constable, Chesser & Cowan...

Why weren't they given a full game in the one preseason game!?

Michalanney was an unknown plus there were many 'perceived' viable options in DEF for R1 or more popular picks.

Buckley was a late in for Aleer in R1 on Sunday before their game. Priced at $205k and considering the circumstance, I doubt any teams would have a spot or the cash to pivot to him. He was certainly an option to correct to for R3 but again many probably had other spot fires to put out than a luxury Rookie upgrade to him.

McVee had unknown JS with clarity around Salem injury yet to be confirmed. Wasn't that inspiring at the bubble with scores of 50 & 23 but has gone on to average 68 since.
