This season is a write-off so sticking with the players I enjoy watching strategy.

Butters last week. Mills this week.

Not the smartest moves but 'smart moves' have got me nowhere.
I'm quite tempted to just go with Mills and hope, too.

Those with Roberts trading/holding? Think he’s out for 8-10 weeks but only 149k so not sure it’s better to just keep him as a donut and hope he comes back later in the year.

I’ve also got Madden, Constable and Cowan so it’s a lot of deadwood to carry

Otherwise could get rid of Cowan and Roberts which doesn’t generate much cash but does strengthen my bench (for now)
Holding as he represents minimal cash gain from a trade….at least could be a useful mid/fwd floating donut…

Torn between trying to choose the right value pick or just grabbing Oliver because he is just that guy in SC!

Thought about a lot this morning, and now I'm really hesitant on having to burn my fourth boost. If I just do Touk/Cowan > Cogs/S.Mitchell and keep McKenna, fade Day. I'm left with $227.9k ITB to two up next week.

This only hurts if Day tons up, and Cogs has a stinker.

I already have Sicily, and I assume you already have Cogs. If I were you I wouldn't burn the boost this week.
I think those are good moves and personally I’m a lot more confident in having Cogs in my team than Day.

Appreciate your thoughts AB. I also considered if Day were to hit his projected score of 108, rise up $42k. Or, even higher, say 130 and rise up approx. $50k. With that boost I save and $227k ITB, I would still consider Day for $500k - but priority picks like Steele or Gawn are atop my agenda. So we'll see how it pans out.

I like that idea tbh over day.

I'm thinking of switching day to O'Halloran. Points hit this week. But still generate income and can grab someone I'm more sold on next week
Obviously I didn't take O'Halloran

JVR rant... He's playing full forward in a team that is 65 points in front at half time and he hasn't kicked a goal! He literally runs to the goal square every time and ask them to bomb it on his head, he absolutely refuses to lead for the ball! bizarre surely the coaches would be onto it and tell him to get on a lead, under 12's stuff! When he pushes up to the wing he leads so why not try it inside 50!!

Ended up going:
Out: McKenna, Hollands, Cowan
In: Petracca, Sturt, Mitchell

Leaving me with:
Buckley, Mitchell (Wilmot, Constable)
Hopper, Ashcroft (Baker, Johnson, Roberts)
Madden
Sheezel, Chandler, JVR (Greene, Sturt)

Gonna absolutely struggle to finish my team. Buckley, Hopper, Sheezel looking more like keepers everyday
