On principle A, but be careful taking out 2 Rd 12 bye players for 2 Rd 15 bye players. So, I would go for Option B based on byes, but it depends on how you stand with byes
I think byes are ok (round 14 will be tough for everyone), 11 out in both rd 14 & 15, but Chandler, McVee, JVR & Long will be all ripe to trade if we can just get some rookies to start getting a few games.....

In a bit of a tough spot. Have lost Ridley and Parish to injury over the past week. Originally was planning on trading Ridley and McKenna to Brayshaw and Atkins. My opinion on Atkins hasn't really changed but I loved seeing Weddle keep his spot with all the ins and outs they had at selection. I'm now starting to lean towards Weddle. I'm definitely not trading Parish unless some bad news comes out. The big one though, is what to do with Ridley. From about round 4 onwards my plan with him was to offload him at his round 14 bye. If I keep him, he won't have much value in him due to that 18 in his price cycle. But, it's also keeping a rookie off the field. I may even end up being forced to keep him for the rest of the season if things get worse.

My new plan is not confirmed, but I'm getting more confident in it by the hour.

This week:
Ashcroft>Brayshaw
Cowan>Weddle
Leaves me with 65.4k

Would prefer to trade McKenna over Ashcroft but 1.1k short, annoying.

Next week:
McKenna>Steele/Lloyd
Callaghan>Drury/Berry
Should leave me with around 60k or so.

I'm expecting to take a hit in the rankings this week with only 16 premos on the park. Will have to field Ryan, Callaghan, Simpson, Mitchell, Cincotta and loop Weddle into McKenna. I'll also have 7 DNP's. Currently at 3.5k overall and would be happy to stay in the top 5k after this round. But if Ridley and Parish are both back next week (probably shouldn't count on that, should I?) I will only have 3 rookies on field. Those would likely be Ryan, Cincotta and Simpson/Drury/Johnson. One thing you may notice is that I'm not going for Oliver. For me, he's just too expensive. I'm going to struggle to complete a team at this point and need to look at value. That is why I'm looking at options like Brayshaw, Steele and Lloyd above. I'm looking at grabbing some of Neale, Mills, Sicily, Merrett after their byes. If I can afford it, then I can look at Oliver and I'd love to get Gawn if he gets FWD status so he can cover the rucks in the backend of the season.

Feedback appreciated.
I’m done a lot of stuff around my bye structure in the last few weeks and I think I’ll be fine.
Of the 8 possible DNP’s this week their chances for round 12 are:
Ridley- should be fine
Parish- should be fine
Cowan- planning on having him traded out
Johnson- likely plays, but no certainty
Roberts- No chance, but planning on sideways-ing him in round 12 to the best bubble boy
Hewett- should be fit, think he’ll play, but can’t be sure
Madden- No chance
Sturt- A chance he plays but planning to be without him. Unlikely to trade him.

So best case scenario I have 1 donut, worst case 3-4 plus maybe an injury or 2.

Probably the most unsure I’ve been about my trades for a week in years.
No chance: 2
Next to no chance: 1
Perhaps: 2
Fixed: 3

I'll be running 3 in the perhaps category, Bytel, Chesser, Johnson. I plan of fixing Constable next week if not named. I just think the triple of Madden, Sturt, Roberts is too much.

In absolute shambles having dropped down to 10,558 overall coping: D.Cameron, Docherty, LDU, T.Miller, Ridley injuries that have cost 100's of points and kept me from upgrading properly most weeks.

Need to deal with Ridley and have 400k in the bank this week.

This is my current team before trades:

Thinking:
Ridley -> Gulden (via Sheezel)
Michalanney -> Ziebell/Brayshaw/N.Anderson/J.Sinclair/Sicily
Boost: Marshall/Darcy -> Gawn

Spewing I didn't go with my gut and pickup Noah Anderson last week but not sure if he's worth it now at nearly 600k. Really rate his game and with Touk out and Gold Coast schedule going forward he does seem a keeper though.

What are peoples thoughts on that 2nd upgrade or any other suggestions?

The team would look like this if doing the first trade, then wait and see if Marshall plays for Gawn or doing Darcy instead..

Can't decide on the following three options. Originally had the following

Greene > Drury
Richards > Anderson

or should I go for a safer thing with

Greene > Drury
Richards > Stewart

but I also don't want to miss the boat on Goulden, or other cheaper options, so considered the following

Greene > Atkins/Drury/Weddle (I think Atkins is best - but only leaves $38,400) - (Drury is $139,900 cash left over)
Richards > Goulden/Brayshaw

Already have Steele/Oliver/Laird/Cogs

Which option is best.....
Bump... Any thoughts about which is best?

I get the feeling this is a defining week in Supercoach 2023. Many strategies available, very few stand out trade targets.

I like the second trade, a lot of the mid scoring has been pretty ordinary. If Anderson can maintain circa 120 he is worth every cent I think. Come with risk, but to be frank most of them do. Ziebell injury, Sicily and Sinclair are quality but hardly setting the world on fire. Steele or Mills, too many queries at this time perhaps. Gulden does offer value and may end up a top 10 forward.

The ruck trade comes with more risk maybe, but if you have the trades...

I never thought I'd say this but someone talk me out of doing 0 trades... Everything feels a little 'not quite' this week for some reason
Buy Anderson. You'll

depends on team. I don’t like going early. So does Weddle and Anderson work?

I took a risk on Hawkins 3 weeks ago, that 184 has made it worthwhile money wise(+140k). Am considering taking the money and moving him to Anderson, Zerrett is the only other Mid I would consider, madness or a good take the money and run strategy. Hawkins could make more money but he could just as easily score 60 tonight?

Any thoughts?
