Talls you pick for at least 2-3 years down the track. With Cloke 28 and White a spud, there's every possibility Collingwood think they need another to develop. It could also mean Moore works on his defensive side a bit more to be versatile, and Witts/Grundy are focused more on being rucks, with Wright in the forward line. A lot of height can work, it'd be a similar setup to what's at Hawthorn now.
Gold Coast? Wright would be a massive upgrade on potential rookie-listed Preuss and there's only about 4 others who can play KPF; Nichols, Smith and Gorringe can't.
West Coast need someone to replace Glass and Cox on the list, so there's a spot for a tall there. There's no one under 22 there next season in that KPF/R range so list-wise it could work.
As for Geelong who knows what they want. Reliant on getting mystery-box Clark in to help Hawkins it could backfire and he's not exactly a spritely youngster. The rest are either spuds, constantly injured or more likely to go back, where there's a pressing need too (thus the Goddard talk).
Which leaves GWS who are already getting Finlayson with Cameron, Patton, Tomlinson, McCarthy with other plenty of rucks. So I think there's a case for most of the other teams needing Wright before him.
That is all assuming that "BPA" is out of the equation.
Wow, Murdoch is 190cm! He doesn't play tall at all. Stanley played most of last season as a defender didn't he? I wouldn't be surprised if he's utlilised there more, especially considering Lonergan and Rivers aren't going to be around for much longer. Going tall and getting Durdin and Goddard would make sense too.

Gold Coast is a great point too but I think there's closer to 6 than 4 who can play KPF: Day, Dixon, Gorringe, Josh Hall, Lynch and May. With regards to Gorrringe, Port said they didn't chase him as they saw him more as a forward than a ruck, I don't really see it that way though. They no doubt could take Wright though.
Fraser McInnes and Simon Tunbridge are two KPFs under 22 at West Coast, not to mention Darling, Lycett and McGovern will be 22. West Coast are going all out for a quality mid with this pick. JJK still at a good age too.
If Geelong go tall it's more likely to be a defender I feel, but they could definitely take Wright as best available.
I know right! Murdoch is a lot taller than he seems, shocked me when I found out too. Nah, Stanley played up forward all year! His best game of the year was in the upset win over Freo when he collected 19 disposals, 14 marks (3 contested), 13 hitouts and 3 goals and had something like 145 SC for his efforts. Pretty sure 2013 was when the Saints were grooming him as a defender. It didn't really work so I'm not sure if Geelong will consider doing that.
