Williams looks decent, not sure he'll be able to keep Vardy or Hickey out of the side too long if he play round 1 though.

That’s the thing. Williams will get games, but might be hard to string a 6-8 block together to make enough cash.

Love having him at the club as a player though. Big future ahead.

I've been bullish on McGrath for 2-3 years... have started him most years to only have to trade him 6-8 rounds in... With Heppell in doubt, Zerrett will prob cop a tag and that would open the door for McGrath. I don't see him scoring 100+ every week or to rival any top midfielder... but decent value.

Mind you, now with the leadership group irellevant, Zerrett could be in for a big year.. no added pressure, can just go out and find the footy.

That’s exactly my hesitation on him. $335k seems a bargain but I worry he does enough to stay in your side all year only to let you down in finals or when you need him.

I don’t think you could expect to keep him.. as LITS suggested, hope he kicks a few bags with 5/8 home games to start season then upgrade him with a tidy profit

I fell asleep after half time and missed all the action. I quite like Shuey's game, he might be the beneficiary of attention going to Kelly. Not sure he'll be in my starting lineup though.

My understanding is that he was playing on the Irishman playing his first ever game of footy?? (and as part of a defence that included a bunch of guys that haven't played together)

I'd be a bit cautious about those 6 goals becoming 3 (and the 100 becoming 70) even with improved delivery.

Worth keeping an eye on, but won't be expecting a top 10 forward scorer, or making masses of cash.

(Odds are I end up buying him at 420K in the second half of the season when I don't have enough money to upgrade to anyone at a higher price)

His scores in the preseason shouldn’t matter tbh - already established his scoring pattern and said he would play midfield.
