Comments: I coped youngs injury/sub (4th guy in 3 weeks... this is getting old fast). Degoey isn't panning out so will move him on in week or 2 for a fallen primo. But besides that quite happy, moved up and scores gone up each week.
Intended Trades: Intending 0 trades as already used 4 but defence is razor thin

Trades planned: Sharp to Chapman, as much as anything I need an extra safeguard to stop Kosi from getting on field like he did this week, hopefully Highmore will come back as well as I probably prefer him on field over Chapman.

Comments: Pretty happy with how the team is tracking and the move up the ranks, but I also feel like a decent week was a bit soured by a questionable trade with Taranto to Oliver. Yes, I thought Taranto might have a decent week, the Dees are not difficult for mids to score against, but he was a part of my side I just didn't feel comfortable with and someone I picked out of semi-necessity and this was a chance to offload him. The timing of the trade has just turned out to be very poor with the De Boer tag, Oliver should be good moving forward, although I'm also hoping O'Connor does not tag him. Even then, he has shown he can handle tags alright in the past and Petracca is always a chance to cop the attention instead, or Geelong might not tag.

Tex looks incredible at the moment, one of the most unexpected things to happen in recent years, it's basically a Boak 2019 situation, but he's come from much further back and has so far gone much further ahead. Not sure how long it lasts, but he should be able to go beserk against North this weekend. If he keeps this up for a few more weeks it's going to be slightly difficult to trade him after his first poor game and when his breakeven becomes unfavourable, but that will probably be the right thing to do, to not be attached to him and offload him. Happy to bring him in, even for Cripps, who I still think will probably just be a 100 average type of player this year. Happy with Walsh, looks to be my best starting pick and Ziebell looks like he's a very good chance of being a keeper . Daniher is tracking okay, Impey might have been the better option, but I reckon when he finally has a few easier opponents he'll have a big game - the next few weeks he should at least have favourable 1 vs 1 match ups.

All is going well, the plan this week is to get a better player at D6/D7 in Chapman, so that Koschitzke never returns to my field.

Comments: Very happy with my decision to field minimal rookies this season thanks to my structure implemented, meaning I have not and hopefully will not have to rely on the likes of Kosi, Scott, Rowe, etc at all this season. Campbell and S Martin the only disappointments this round as they were the only players that scored below 70. Pleased with my Bergman to McDonald trade and plan on fielding McDonald in place of Campbell in RD4. Sloane once again delivering and has a great opportunity to continue that against NM.

Intended Trades: Nil- $100 short of Koschitzke to Chapman and could potentially trade Neale to Ridley or Grundy but have currently decided against it.

Intended Trades: Looking to bring Chapman in, probably for Kosi, as a playing D6.

Comments: Pretty good week all things considered, avoiding most of the carnage.

Decided to keep Neale and Cripps, and instead went early on Parks thinking Highmore was on the outer at St Kilda who I thought would account for Essendon!

Will probably use two trades this week to shore-up my backline. Chapman is set to come in, probably for Koschitzke, and if Highmore is back I’ll cop the L and bring him back in for Sharp. If not, then I’ll happily go early on Burgess.

Pleased enough with where things sit, won’t be long before it’s the beginning of one-down, one-up trading season.

Comments: Stoked to come home last night after 5 days with no reception to a round like that. A lot of last weeks villains have become this weeks heroes which is cool.

Comments : While initially dissapointed with the big rankings slide , I am only 421 points behind the leader so with 2-3 tweaks I am still in the game.

The next 3 rounds will go a big way in determining my season.

Need to learn to forget what other coaches around me are doing and focus on my own plans and adapt where and when as necessary.

Sit back and wait or be aggressive and creative ?

2021 is a different SC game so far , is it a case of changing our thinking from past years and taking the opportunities that are presenting themselves ?

No use playing the same way as in previous seasons and getting half way through and being 1200 points behind

Comments: Busy with work so no time to do my normal review but felt like it was a week of missed opportunities even though the team was above par. Should have went with Cox against the Saints instead of Kosi and I would have been looking at a huge score. Glad to see GG dominating in the rucks and the forward line bar Rowe was outstanding this week. The super premo mids though have been a letdown, not sure what to make of them this season. Ridley was enormous in defence, being the only player to score above 100 from that line.

Comments: Fairly bad round attributed to three on field rookie scores in the 20's and the tagging of Oliver and Mitchell. Had a feeling Cripps would finally ton up the week I traded him but I still don't think he's a good pick managing just 109 from 34 touches and 2 goals. Absolutely hate taggers destroying my players scores and to cop two in one week truly sucked. Bringing in Tex this week even with the big price jump he's had. As I've said earlier I think he's a chance of being a keeper and at worst will still have a fair bit of cash to make if he needs to be traded out down the line. Will bring in Chapman if Highmore isn't named, might do so anyway.

Comments: Super late review as the short turn around between games and school holidays plays havoc on getting time to sit down and do this. Thought about getting in Impey instead of Martin, but Dusty looks like a man on a mission and I'm not sure that Impey will go at that disposal efficiency again (hindsight lol). I think Tex is a flash in the pan and will go back to his old broken down ways soon (double hindsight lol).

Intended Trades: Kosi or Highmore to Chapman to get a rookie who is playing and can score some points.

lol I just got diagnosed with ADHD. Happy that after struggling with the disorder for most of my life it was an SC mistake that really compelled me to do something about it*.

Moral of the story is that if there's anyone out there who finds themselves putting the VC on a Thursday night game, even when you rationally know it's not your best option, or refusing to take a good VC score because you want to roll the dice, or spending days thinking carefully about what trades to make and then impulsively doing something different just because you felt like it in the moment, well, maybe you too should book an appointment with your local psychiatrist.

*don't worry, it wasn't really the SC mistake that made me do something about it; it's just a funny example of its effect.
