Any idea why Bowes was subbed off?

Yep - will be hammy or a calf - happened when he was going form stopped start sprinting to follow up and get a cheap possession, and ... he stopped short pretty quickly - vision was on telecast. Commentators missed it though

Another example of why to just pick the players you think will perform the best first, and the bye situation second. Would have Zorko or Hall instead of Mitchell right now.

Happy to get a score from Heeney after getting 19 and DNP since I traded him in. I thought at his price he was value 3 weeks ago given the mess that's the forward line. Even more so now. Of course I also thought Buddy was value....

Anyway, played it down the line with Cox->Ridley as planned.

One up, one down next week (or 2 up if looking at value plays. Might trade out Powell and Warner and go 2 up.

I doubt Waterman will be emg. but who knows?

Cox is "rested", but is also the only one of the Em not named in the VFL and as we all know by now a very versatile player.

Not sure if it's still true given the AFL now owns Marvel Stadium but there definitely used to be limits on how many times they could use the MCG and Marvel a year, so it meant the odd game got shifted. GWS is an obvious away candidate to move a game for considering how low drawing they are.
