They dumped wills too who played a similar role. Could be a good scorer if he gets his chance.
It's just Cal Twomey, the draft guru from the AFL, saying who is ready to play early on. He has about half a dozen of the top draftees playing round 1. He hasn't identified who's spot in the team they are taking. Ben Cunnington, Curtis Taylor, Tarryn Thomas, et al might have other ideas. The same at other clubs.

Mitch Cleary did this best 22 back in late November.

B: Lachie Young, Ben McKay, Aidan Corr
HB: Shaun Atley, Robbie Tarrant, Luke McDonald
C: Trent Dumont, Jed Anderson, Jared Polec
HF: Tarryn Thomas, Nick Larkey, Luke Davies-Uniacke
F: Jack Ziebell, Cam Zurhaar, Jaidyn Stephenson
Foll: Todd Goldstein, Ben Cunnington, Jy Simpkin
I/C: Josh Walker, Bailey Scott, Curtis Taylor, Kyron Hayden

EMERG: Flynn Perez, Aaron Hall, Jack Mahony, Kayne Turner

I can see Hayden in the back pocket instead of Young, so Phillips could take a spot on the interchange, but there is no walk up start barring injuries.
Ziebell is a tempting price. Does he still get a spell through the midfield rotations or does he play forward to reduce injury risk.?

Caldwell the b

Caldwell will get the bump alot of players get before their break out year. So I'd say he's 2 years away from being semi premium relevant
Caldwell would look good in a Collingwood Jumper. So would Oliver.

To me Danger is a definite starter. Currently Marshall fills out the top 3 in FWD Line. Sidebottom is also in brackets.

Lots of Options in the FWD Line.
Do you consider Dunkley? Or not enough midfield minutes with treloar there now?

Look at the Dogs Midfield rotations. Dunkley is a Quality player but Mr Magnets has too many options in the Midfield. I believe Dunkley playing Ruck at certain times last year inflated his Pts. With Steph Martin arriving at the club my guess is his Pts return will suffer. The only Dog I’m considering is Macrae.

Some very enticing SC options, thanks to either a change of scenery, return from injury or natural progression, etc.
Eg:
N Newman: 23.5 from 2
D Rich: 89.9 from 13
A Witherden: 94.3 from 6
J Lukosius: 80.2 from 17
T Stewart: 100.1 from 18
S Docherty: 92.3 from 16

Rich is the only one of those at the top to play more than a handful of games, bit of an outlier. I don't think I'll pick him, will be priced awkwardly, but worth considering.

Career Kick to Handball Ratio for D Rich= 1.8
2017-2020: 2.80

As for his ex teammate A Witherden:
Current defenders to have played 50+ games:
Kick to Handball Ratio: 2.9 (3rd behind J Short and N Wilson)
Effective Kicks Average: 11.7 (1st and closely followed by T Stewart, S Docherty and J Lloyd who all average greater than 10.5)
Metres Gained Avg: 388.4 (12th)
Kicking efficiency: 24th (10th for players who average 15+ disposals and 4th for 18+)
