Fast fwd to rd 1 when that bench E smashes out a big 100 and you have all green lights... What the hell, we have 35 trades!!
The positive is you still would if it's round 1 ;)

I'm honestly not a fan of the loop in general as a starting play unless it's at R3 because there are no alternatives.

Can't recall very often I didn't have a donut by round 4, so even at 100 points a week gained from looping, which is about 110 better than my performance on it last year as I actually lost points on the loop for the season, you've made 300 points, I'd be hoping to generate that over a season with an extra 150k come round 6-8 from the extra rookie.

It might just be that I always seem to end up with negative loop production but never been a fan

Ditching the loops is still weird to me having come across from the BBL where you pretty much always want one! There the scores are so variable that the rookie priced players can reasonably put up the biggest score of the round, and likewise you give yourself a chance at ditching a bad score from a premium.

Was the end of the season and still had a year to run and going into free agency. Don't reckon he lets up at all to be honest.

He's notorious for being as hard a worker as anyone, reckon he's a chance of taking the captaincy even if they decide to let Witts focus on footy/recovery more.

Absolute gun. Still really hard to pick him given so unproven at that price but he's a real quality player who has built to this over an extended period.

I had a loop player all season last year, helped me multiple times and was likely my MVP early on, especially to lock in good VC scores. Not sure if I start one this year with bench cover being more important with Covid, but worst case I use them to bring in a missed rookie after R2 if I do. As mentioned, you usually seem to get an unintended donut early on anyway.

Very hard to split these players in Touk Millers price range, with the salary cap:
Macrae $699,900, Steele $685,800, Miller $677,800, Oliver $672,000,
So, not surprised he is a POD.

Agree on that - he's the only one in that very elite group to have only one season at that level. So if you've somehow fitted 3 and Neale then finding more $$$ for Touk as well as premo rucks is a tall order.

Yeah, Neale will be very popular, as he is under-valued. Mitchell is tempting to be included as well, being under-valued.

Thoughts on Caleb Serong? Any freo fans know whats happening with him?

Showed a bit of potential last year, with the departure of Cerra could he have a better role?

Why does no one have Bont? Three years of 115+ and going into his prime years
Incredibly inconsistent messaging on role so far this o***eason. Picked up a couple of injuries last year which dents the superman aspect just a little.

Also once again played half a season at an elite level, that hard one where if you start him and he duds the first half you just have a dud pick that everyone jumps on when he comes good, flip side obviously if he starts great.

Then there's always the chance he plays a full season and goes 125+. I've had him in a couple of drafts but hard to take both him and Macrae.

Like all the premiums, good for and against battle is being played!

Just feel like theres always an opportunity to jump on when he bottoms out, but reckon there will be a year where he never does super talent and dont think he was fully fit for most of that back half of the year dropoff, copped that shoulder knock and was never the same player.

Every year I tend not to have him, start kicking myself, but when upgrades come there's always better options and in the end I prefer the mid options I end up with...

That strongly suggests to me that it's not worth the heartburn between role changes and niggles.

Lipinski $ 359,900.00 🤔

Who knows what he averages , finally could get the right role and opportunity.

Need to have at least "fun" pick to start the season , surely.
I think I like him more than Rowell in the same price range but I can't say I'm in love with either for SC, just a huge jump that you're chasing.

Happy for them to demand selection though, those two at M2 and M3 could make for some very interesting structures
