XFL Championship game on now at the Alomadome.


San Antonio an underrated city to visit. The river walk is fantastic. Stayed at the same hotel as the visiting New Orleans Pelicans. AD is god damn tall. I felt like a midget at 6'3

Anyone else currently doing Dynasty Drafts at present?

Picked up an orphan last season. Don't have a pick in the first round of the rookie draft, but in rounds 2, 3 and 4. It's a Super Flex and my second QB was Tom Brady, so somehow need to pick up a QB who could play this year as my third is David Mills.

Never really done one of these. Where does that leave you? Are there non-rookies still available?

The pool is (basically) Rookies recently drafted. Depending on list, I'm able to draft them straight onto my active list orr put them on my taxi squad. The taxi squad players aren't available for week to week play. Those players can stay on the taxi squad for only one season. So, I could stash a developing QB who won't see any playing time this season there.

I have Matt Stafford, so if I can stash Stettson Bennett, that could be a good outcome.

I definitely think we can organise a Keeper League, as a minimium, from active NFL members here. Dynasty

@Connoisseur and I are in a Keeper League on the NFL.com platform, which keeps up to 10 each season. Which I might have won after picking up an orphan five years ago.

The secret for the Aussie audience is to make it 10 teams, thereby less knowledge of players needed, and thus a bigger waiver pool.

Sleeper definitely does Keeper Leagues.

If we maintain a basic format and 10 teams, there are plenty of players available via waiver wires throughout the season and available players in the following year's draft.

Current Keeper League is Standard Format in NFL.com but 19 max list and no injury list. Max 10 Keepers at season end.

More teams, and bigger lists, dilutes teams and requires a greater knowledge of the NFL. Which I don't think works for SCS members.

Yeah we just ran a dynasty rookie draft - honestly the sleeper draft ADP works pretty well. A lot of our picks were based around it & having info from fantasy pro’s feed into the players profiles helped

Sleeper does Keeper - so @jaca up to you (and everyone else) if you guys wanted to do a NFL Keeper league on sleeper. Not fussed either way but happy to organise one


Also just noting that for those in the NFL SCS (Redraft) league and are still in for this season, I’ve tentatively put in an August date for the draft - up to you guys though. Season starts September 8 (can’t believe I’m saying this but I’m probably attending the LAC v MIA game at Sofi Stadium) - in the US 31st-15th Sep so hoping our draft (long draft atm, up for discussion if you guys wanted a short one) can finish before then
