Mate, Heeney is like a 60% probability of being a trap. He’s playing the role that has been pure poison for him in the past. A clear 2H trade in target when Papley is back and he actually gets a few CBAs. I love him, I’m not getting sucked into 9 goals in 2 games.
He tends to average about a goal and a bit a game. Knock off ~15 points per game for the excess goals so far (not accounting for scaling) and he's still having a hell of a start.

Butters is uncomfortable not holding - but I still don’t think he’ll ruin non-owners season. He’s 80 kgs dripping wet, and has decided that a fearless crash and bash style is his ticket to ride. I’m seeing injury coming.
Can definitely understand wanting to bet against Heeney now that you've missed the hot start. (but I think you're wrong)

Butters - 100 points ahead of Bailey after two rounds for the same price. 10 more to go before you can force him to the bench. Hope your voodoo dolls are powerful.

Tossing up either:

Whitfield > Hewett
Berry > Heeney
McGovern > N Martin

Vs

Whitfield > Hewett
Berry > Xerri

Not totally convinced that Heeney hasn't already had his two best games of the season, but so much FOMO that I might have to get him in anyway

Looks excellent, have you traded yet?
yes made three trades
whitfield > bowey
berry > caldwell (since caldwell will make more money and I have a look at cripps with a full carlton midfield)
durdin > xerri (was either trading out durdin or maginness and i went durdin coz maginness has dpp)
the plan is to trade davies down to stephens then trade caldwell up to cripps next week

Sounds good mate, good team. Caldwell could be a good pick with Merrett out.

My trades for this week are likely to be:
1. Whitfield -> Hewett (need cash for #3)
2. McGovern -> Xerri
3. Ward -> Cripps

had a terrible first 2 weeks, it's going to be a long way back. was hoping to repeat my 2020 season and finish top 50, but I don't think it's going to happen.

CHRIS Fagan will have no hesitation in deploying Jarrod Berry to more run-with roles in the future, saying no player in the competition is untaggable.

Berry was assigned to follow Zach Merrett after quarter-time of Saturday's 22-point win over Essendon, slowly restricting the Bomber midfielder's influence after he torched the Lions in the opening term.

Although Fagan believes there is no definitive answer in whether to tag opposing midfielders or not, he says it's an option he's happy to continue exploring.

That's enough for me now to go along with his shoulder issues ...

Is anyone else bypassing Cripps who doesn't have him?
I really don't want to pick him by he's only $454,000 and has these games coming up - Hawthorn, GC , Port, Freo, North and Adelaide .
It's pretty risky not getting him.

If he's a bust, at least his high ownership means you go down with everyone. If he continues his form and you don't have him though, you get left behind.

Whitfield looked ok to me watching live, actually used it pretty well.
Did cop Tiges on rebound so was under pressure a lot.
FWIW I have him & likely to trade as he will leak some cash & there look similar cheaper options available

After going through countless trade scenarios, thinking of keeping it simple.

McGovern to Nic Martin, have all the other good cows in the forward line and think he will be crucial as a money maker.
Berry to Brayshaw. He was awesome Sunday night and I have to jump on board.

Keep my new pods in Gawn and Whitfield.

Brayshaw could easily make 100k in the the next couple of games.
I feel like I am talking myself into joining the Brayshaw Train!
