Hmm well with Stevens out what peoples thoughts on Stephens v Soligo as a trade out (for Martin via DPP).

$100k difference, but I’d think Stephens is a much better chance to come back in and make some cash (B/E is just 2).

I think dead weight is first priority (So Soligo out) unless the 100k will be utilised this week. Stephens to a bubble rookie next week would be my go if not named again.

Sit and wait for tomorrow night final teams. If Stephens is medi sub will go this week. Likely trade is Stephens to Preuss via Rachelle and then play him R2, English F2, Hayes F8 enables me to have Xerri F6 this week. So points wise get Press over Martin score and avoid Rookie roulette.
If Stephens is out altogether may sit on trade until next week.

Looking at the swans team, its a tall fwd line for wet conditions - Reid, Buddy & McLean. Wouldn't be surprised if there is a late change especially if the weather is poor.

Only 6 years ago North were 9-0 out of nowhere really (few good wins followed by the draw opening up significantly).

A bunch of injuries and tougher opponents saw us only win 3 more for the year and finish 8th on 12-10 (including 5 consecutive losses in the final rounds to top 7 teams).

Out of the finals in the first week as the Doggies came from 7th to win the lot.

Fun times celebrating all those wins though

Yeah, was just following The Front Bar‘s Carlton 8 - 0 joke. Much more likely 5 - 3 but happy with that, just want to make finals this year. Get some finals experience and have a crack at a GF in the next few yaers.

Yeah good point, I’ve got $190k in the bank so cash is not the priority, this round anyway.
