Some scary reading in that, possibly some very big scores on the way again this week...
Scores probably going to be higher maybe if people loophole Macrae with Hayes, although maybe Nico allows for those non players.

2 points off on projections for making this table (2376), although Nico has different forecast scores. Could be costly VC Macrae and not having Hayes on ground to take advantage of it. Trading in Preuss and getting extra 6 points may not be an enough compensation!

Trading Chapman and Gawn two weeks ago starting to feel a little bit of a waste, although across having Hall, Heeney and Preuss on field vs Gawn Chappy and Martin/Rachele it probably close to break even on scoring. Nice to rebound for last weeks dismal 2078.

Played: Z Butters, L Neale, J Berry, J Horne-Francis, I Heeney, P McCartin, T Xerri, N Daicos, B Grundy (VC), J Kelly, B Preuss (new recruit), L Whitfield, S Coniglio, W Brodie, J Short, J Dunkley, J Macrae (C)

Yet to play: M Hinge, J Ridley, G Hewett, P Cripps and M Rowell

On track for 2300+ and very happy with the inclusion of B Preuss along with W Brodie continuing his fine form and the ever dependable Macrae as captain. Decided to select T Dow over N O’Driscoll to replace D Stephens due to the sub affected score exiting his system after this round and limiting his gain. Did not expect this type of score and will come in to replace Maginness next round. Had the opportunity to select him last round but decided on Skinner instead  to fund the inclusions of Cripps and Heeney.

VC macrae but like others here only have hayes as loop. Two bench are Rachelle and Martin with the emg and Hayes on field to take macrae score but Rachelle and Martin play early so the risk would be I cop Hayes as sub and a possible garbage score. May have to play safe and C Cripps

What a win!! No idea how we pulled that off. Eagles woooooo.

However the win soured by one of the biggest travesties to hit afl in many a year. A deplorab act, with no winners. Our theme since. Seriously ***, gotta bin that, but tbh didn't think I would hear that in 2022...
Well done on the win mate, I must say I don’t live playing WC!

I missed the game - what was the act/theme you were referring to?

Great to see all the good scores around. This isn’t one of them …

15/1,337 … fair to say I need a big Sunday.

On the bright side I have Brodie, NOD and Dixon all in my team even if their scores are stuck on my bench.

Onwards and upwards!!

Having a bit of a shocker. I am probably one of the few here sort of hoping Hayes does get named as sub now, as I need things like that to hopefully bring a few teams back a bit. Going to be losing a lot of ground this round. :(
dont Mind a bit of carnage to even it out….even though I own Hayes and have him on my bench I wouldn’t mind him being the sub and getting a start…( even though it might possibly kill his cash gen)…

Heard a Forward asked that exact question 3 or 4 seasons ago.
Response was something like "Oh yeah, it's something we work really hard on. The other day I took 25-30 shots on goal at practice".
When they flicked back the studio, one of hosts said "I guess that's the difference. They think taking 30 shots at goal is working hard, when Plugger would do extra practice by himself, 2 or 3 times a week, kicking 100-120 shots at goal, from all angles and distances."
I remember hearing a comment like this, and thinking that a fast bowler would bowl far more deliveries than the forwards seem to take practice shots. It doesn’t make a lot of sense when bowling is both more taxing and carries greater injury risk.
