Hobbs kept his spot, anyone got his BreakEven
Tooserious has him at 46, I'm going with the positive here! 😂
Ave of 37 only. I saw some clips on nine footy show FC Wednesday night highlighting in part how they burnt him several times in run on play so im optimistic he gets better ops this round!

Debuts for Amiss & Stephens

Bryan , Khamis , Thompson cheapies I can see
127K defender

Kicked 10 goals from his past three VFL games, nice size at 190cms/85 kgs - very athletic.

Write up from last week's reserves game :-

Buku Khamis

Six disposals, four tackles, eight hit outs, four goals

Buku continues to relish the opportunity to play forward, continuing his search for versatility. He had a lot more involvement and impact in the game than his stats would tell you – four goals from six kicks is significant. He competed well when the ball was in his area, and continues to play that ruck-relief role too.

Review from the previous week's game :-

Buku Khamis

21 disposals, four marks, nine hit outs, three clearances, two goals

Buku again played a mixture of forward and in the ruck. He was able to compete well at stoppage - giving our mids some good looks around the ground. He was able to find space forward and competed well in the air. Buku’s ability to finish his work in front of goal was a great feature in his game.

Review from round 4 :-
Buku Khamis

16 disposals, 10 marks, seven hit outs, four goals

Buku had a change of role this week - playing forward while also having a few stints in the ruck. There were signs early he was going well, but his third quarter was super impressive. He was strong in the air and on the ground, and his stoppage work was pretty good. He brings such joy to our team and club, so it was great to see him perform well.

Really interested in seeing him play on the weekend & seeing if he does play the relief ruck role. That type of role could make him appealing & a defender rookie at last that may score ok.

Interesting numbers though

Has Cordy been playing forward or back ? named CHF not that it means much.

English comes back for Martin , might be one of Cordy/Khumis as back-up.

Not sure they can play both of them if Bont remains forward + Astronaught.

Keath eventually returns back as well

I'm still thinking that I'll bring Clarke ( who is a must have) & Carroll in this week, allows me to upgrade a defender to help cover Hewett, keep JHF for another week at M8 (BE 58 and might have a spike in him) who I can loop as well. I'm not keen on McComb and I get a look at a few other rookies coming up. Can't get a look at Curtis as it would mean fielding Dixon

As an owner, I thought he looked actually ok vs the dogs.
Looked a bit more composed then the previous week's. Got some holding the balls in the 1st which killed the score

Any idea who Cleary is ? (Named as a Emergency)

Forward in the games I have seen, playing Bruce's role ( not sure how far away he is)

I remember seeing Hannan playing the ruck relief role before he got injured.

If Khamis can play well & hold his spot, it may allow the dogs to play Bont in the middle. The dogs for mine look so much better when Bont is in the middle - I know with Bruce out/ lack of fwd targets it has forced them to play him fwd but Khamis could really help them with their structure by releasing their gun/damaging mid back into the engine room where he can make a big impact.

Send English forward as the marking target and rotate Cordy , Dunkley , Hannan & Khamis through the ruck.

I guess they have so many other mids that Bont is the best option forward , see how it goes tomorrow night with Cordy , Khamis & Naughton (good opportunity to have a look at it in any case).

Might be wet here tomorrow night, so we might have a game of chaos ball in any case.

Think I might pick up Dusty...
Lacking match fitness means either he is underdone this week and struggles or cooks himself this week that regresses some what next week? But he is a match winner on his day that can turn a game quickly. Vs the pies CD might just throw the points his way without much effort 😂
