How many trades are we all going to use in the ruck line this year?

Started Gawn and Darcy, bailed out round 1 with Darcy injury concerns, went Gawndy. Traded Gawn round 3 after poor start. Removed Grundy round 6 and Gawn back in. Now gonna trade in Darcy next week. Back to square one lol

Only 2 players plus bench on that line and multiple trades used.
I started with Marshall, Draper and Hayes, with English forward

Traded Xerri in in Rd 3
Traded Marshall and Draper out Rd 4
Traded Grundy Xerri and Hayes out in Rd 7

Currently have Preuss Hayes TDK and English. So you'd expect I'm not stopping trading rucks any time soon.

At the average of 3 ruck trades every 4 rounds I should make 17 or 18 by the end of the year!!

My trades this week determined on how well Hayes went. Hayes doing well has now completely change my plans. Happy with new recruit McComb, likely to make a load of money.

Butters is an absolute spud. Likely to offload him before Martin. Had to keep NOD so a 61 isn't all that bad. Bazlenka with a 3rd week in a row under 100 may need fixing during the byes.

Nice start. Happy to bank Macrae despite what Neale will do the Eagles, as it also allows me to take McComb’s 71.

Cannot understand the Goldy trade ins. Yeah he’ll score well, but he’s basically 0 chance of being a keeper, and you’ll likely only get 4 weeks before he’s back into a ruck share with Xerri, scores poorly and you need to trade him again. Will be a big problem come bye time. Bit like trading Ladhams in after his two tons. Short term game for a lot more pain down the road.

Personally brought him in due to my obliterated ruck line of Preuss and SHayes. Had Grundy and English as my R1 and R2 and unfortunately got hit with injuries. Goldy presented a nice opportunity for a bit of value and cash gen so that I can reassess my ruck options without leaking too many points to those that have Gawn.

Also allowed me to bring Cripps in this week due to his low price.

Preuss and Hayes are the best two rookie priced options we have. If someone doesn’t have Gawn, I would be striving to get them both on field any way you can, for as long as possible.

Fortunately Goldy has DPP which allows anyone who brought him in to still be able to do that should they wish.

Happy to ride him out and if he starts dropping off at the byes, there's no better time to move him on.
