Hence, Brice asking the question.
So do they have to play all of those 22 first ? or can the top ups play before those listed ?

EDIT : Just reread the AFL release on the H & S protocol (March 8th)

"Clubs must prioritise the selection of AFL listed players where reasonable"

Young key forward Ollie Lord trained with the senior squad at Adelaide Oval and looks set to make his debut if Georgiades can’t get up.

Star forward Charlie Dixon will play in the SANFL and Hinkley said he would be on some minute restrictions.

Hinkley also said Karl Amon was a required player for the Power, as Victorian clubs look at the out of contract wingman – who was dropped and then a late inclusion two weeks ago against West Coast.

“Whether it needed to happen for Karl it has certainly helped him and he is getting back to the form that we know he can be at, which is in the All-Australian squad,” Hinkley said.

With he who shall remain nameless not available this week and Strandica or whatever his name available now I might move Dixon on and bring in someone like Parker depending on the teams that drop later today. I'm really hoping English plays but I think they'll take a conservative approach noting it may also be wet.

Literally Kelly the only top inside mid fit, Clark has his chance to shine in his natural spot now.
The way they've played this year, at least the Eagles will be competitive in the midfield now with the unknowns all giving it a decent crack instead of rolling around on previous achievements.
