McVeigh was a senior assistant surely he already had a say in what was going on, be surprised if theres any drastic changes until the new coach is appointed.
You'd imagine that he wants the job though so would try and win.

Given how incredibly badly Cameron coached such a talented list this is the dream "caretaker" role, you've got a finals level list with an absurd midfield taking over for a coach who did everything in his power to undermine that list and distort that midfield, this is the kind of caretaker job where you can end up winning a flag and getting the job for a decade.

Seriously, from next week surely you just go Green, Greene and Kelly on ball switching with Coniglio and Taranto, Whitfield out to the wing or HB and just man to man across the field, ditch the absurd long kick to 2 on 1s always rule and just play an aggressive hit-up target style. You have to look at that midfield and go "our 1 to 5 is better than anyone elses" and just back it to win games.

If he persists with Greene at FF, Kelly on a wing/HF, Coniglio as a forward pocket, Whitfield as a forward pocket/HF so that he can get midfield minutes into Ward, Ash, Kennedy and Hill types then you know he was the guy poisoning Cameron's brain into the stupidity in the first place.

Honestly, when you've got the most talented list your only real job as coach is to not handicap it...

Knevitt stays in ahead of C. Stephens.
To be fair, Knevitt played considerably better than Stephens and deserved to stay in ahead of him.

Bloody English, think the extra week means holding has undoubtedly been the wrong choice. Lots of 50/50s wrong this season for me unfortunately.
Depends who you've had covering him really. Personally with Preuss as cover I'm not actually sure who I could have traded in that would have scored more points.

End of the day the position has averaged over 100 and I've been able to keep upgrading other slots. The real question will be whether he can come back and pick up where he left off or if he's a shadow, he's not a guy with a good record of dealing with adversity so there's definitely some worries there.

He needs to be elite still when back though, if he's not then holding him becomes a train wreck pretty quick!

The absolute worst for mine is when people use ‘their’, ‘there’ or ‘they’re’ incorrectly.

It really isn’t that hard!
The worst one for me is people who use loose instead of lose, most commonly used as looser instead of loser. I think it's a very sport focused one but it rustles my jimmies.

There/their/they're is up there as well.

Dominant/Dominance is the other one that gets me, another very sport focused but it gets me every time I see it!

Um... Luke Strnadica where art thou?
Kept out by Bailey J Williams

Does the selection panel actually watch the players play?
They are prioritizing Cal Jamieson over Strnadica this week.

As I mentioned last week, they wanted to see what Jamieson could do as a decision needs to be made on him later this year. He was decent last week and giving the young fella a few games in a row is smart.

With those two and a full compliment of forwards... I'd say Hugh Dixon misses out again.

Hmm, after a decent week last round, in 1 fowl swoop they're goes 7 players in my side either confirmed out or at risk, side is hanging on tender hooks atm.

Dont waana be a damp squid but man I'm looking at loosing my leagues this week, don't think I'll beat noone. Should of thought harder about my team from the get go.
