Highest score achievable for round 1 was 3053. This compares to the winning score for the week of 2360.

Note this team allows for cheap bench doughnuts.

Highest score achievable after round 2 is 5740 (avg 2870). This compares to the leading score for the week of 4655 (avg 2328).

The highest score achievable after round 3 is 8358 (avg 2786) which compares to the current leader who has 6963 (avg 2321).

Maximum score for round 3 was an even 3000. Note that this is the last round it makes sense to do this given the prices have now started changing.

Maximum scores after 4 rounds is 11,067 (avg 2,767) which compares against the current leader who has 9,264 (avg 2,316).

Other than the last post which shows was the current leader has done all the other teams are the maximum score achievable after the nominated round if somebody got every call right (which is total unrealistic). If that doesn't answer your question then please clarify.

The first post for this AFL season is post 242 at the top of the page (as indicated in the thread title).

Thanks for your reply Beg2Differ. Just wondering if you can guide me to the very beginning of what you are trying to achieve ie the first ever post you did explaining the idea behind it, what started you thinking about this.

The 2023 AFL Supercoach winner was a team called the Oozin' Sauce. This is what they did.

Interestingly their name is Jay. I wonder if a former winner has been moonlighting...

This is not as relevant as it used to be with the recent rules changes off extra trades and DPP additions giving the ghost ship team little chance of winning the comp (like it has previously). However this is the best score achievable for a team that was set and forget after round 1 with an emergency set on each line.

Note this score of 54,623 (avg 2276) is some 2,761 points behind the winning score of 57,384 (avg 2391) and would have placed around 6600th.

A team by the name of Unimaginative Name won BBL13 SuperCoach by 165 points. Here is what he did.

The maximum score achievable this season was 13,014 (avg 1,446) which compares to the winning score of 9,554 (avg 1,062). The team that would have achieved that is as follows.

I have seen a few post with observations about the current leading team. Good time to have a look what they have done.

Main observation is trading premos with byes and therefore maxed out on trades.

The team currently leading is entitled "Nuke". Here is what they have done.

My observations.

• Used maximum possible trades to date so only 6 left.
• Has 9 mid premiums, 5 def premiums & 5 fwd premiums (6 if you count Sexton)
• Yet to miss a captain. Averaging 136 with a lowest of 109.
