Johnson vs 80 (Fletcher)

Would just take the 80 ideally, but would rule out any coverage for Merrett/Laird/Walsh (not that any are in doubt)

Walsh v Touk v Parish

Taking Walsh allows me to keep SMitchell, and keeps a loop with the backline open via constable in the mids. Taking the other two means I keep Johnson, and lose the loop.

Walsh prob plays more mid with Kennedy injured. Has good scoring history.
Touk just of an injury, potential to go big, but also potential to be managed ready for next season.
Parish really consistent, generally doesn't have the ability to score huge like the other two.

Are Mitchell/Johnson just cover?

Prefer Parish I think.

Yep they are cover. Keeping Mitchell allows loops to stay open for D/M and D/F. Could also just play Hewett or Johnson to cover Green this week and get Libba/Dunkley next week.
I wouldn't be surprised if Mitchell is one who misses a few games from here on. I'd say he's pretty safe in keeping his spot for next year, there's others who are more fringe selections on the list who might get given a go at AFL level to see if they can play:

"It is a great balancing act between trying to get exposure to a lot of young players, which we are doing, but there aren't too many players that we can take out to get games into someone else," he said.

"We would love to get Mackenzie and Hustwaite and Long and Serong, Ramsden, they are all players we would love to get into the side and see what they can do. How we manage it and how we get players in is a balancing act to get as much development into the squad over the course of the next six weeks."

Might not be the only Hawk who gets "managed" from here on. Could be wrong.

I'd pick the best player and not worry too much about loops, but you're also in a far better position than me.

Have settled on Parish. Had a look at his past couple of seasons and has actually had some really high scoring games. Comfortable with the decision for now. Thanks for the advice!!

I'm relying on both.

Maybe Maric? I'd be happy with 100 combined between the two.
Yeah I only looked again at it and realised I can loop Taranto into the mids because I didn’t trade Green out yesterday 🤣 and thought given Chesser’s history, Maric has a higher ceiling! I know this will now gunna end badly 🤣.
