I’d go Doc, just. But if Daniel fits your structure better, I’d go for him.

You could set up a DEF/FWD loop with Dewar and Caleb Daniel, effectively giving you cover between two positions.

Could also consider Himmelberg, store up some extra cash for injury or sideways trades coming down the stretch of the season.

Then you can switch between Dewar and your F7/D7 in Daniel/Himmelberg and set up loops if you think one of your defenders/forwards have a tougher matchup.

West Coast have a good remaining chunk of their games on late Sunday so I'd be strongly be looking at DEF/FWD option for two line cover and loops (never know when you might pull off a good one).

And to cover Laird this week, I’d swing Davey/Harvey to FWD, Dewar to DEF, Daicos/Dawson/Sinclair to MID.

Yeah that's my thinking too. Bit worried about having too many dogs but their run home is about as good as it gets.

I’ve just brought in Daniel (and Dewar) for this purpose. My cover in DEF and FWD was weaker than my MID cover, so I’ll kill two birds with Daniel.

To cover Laird I think you could just do Alwyn/Rozee and Daniel/Dewar switches.

I think the media has blown that one out of proportion. Grundy wants to stay and the Dees want him to stay. He just needs to work on some facets of his game to get back in to the Senior side. Whether he is capable of doing that is up for debate.

At worst, he is about as good as coverage as you can get if Max becomes unavailable at any given time.
