Chandler will essentially be against Bruce for a spot. (God I wish I'd had the balls to E Bruhn instead...)

What do you take? Really like Bruce's matchup but Chandler is scoring well!
If he gets to 70, just lock it in and save yourself any stress for the rest of the weekend. Nearly even a 65 would do the trick.

On 57 with 11 minutes to go (when lights went out). Gee he was looking good being on 30 at 1/4 time but went missing as did most of the Demons players during the 2nd and 3rd quarter. Would love for him to get to 70+ and I'd take that as my forward emergency and save a trade.

He's up to 65 now, reckon you can almost lock it in

Thinking of flicking Chesser to Callaghan - or should I have another look at both this week.

North Melb.
Hopefully he is ahead of McVee, Harmes & Melksham in the pecking order now.
Yes you might be right. Although McVee is a defender, so I'm not sure he could be replaced by Pickett unless they play both Harmes and Brayshaw in defence (which is possible). Melkham was the sub, so he was already outside the 22 (I'd expect Van Rooyen to come in for Gawn as another tall forward, although maybe they just play a smaller forward line).

Harmes is probably the main contender given how much he struggled, and of course someone else could always get injured.

Solid option yes
Must have don't think so
Yep hesitant to call anyone a must have. But I should have the luxury (touch wood) of being able to bring him in next week.

No chance I'm trading Greene to him (ok maybe if he scores 30 again but I rate him)

Will be interesting if I have someone to downgrade to him, I'd rather not have the issue of having to trade Hoppers/Flanders but would look like them.

I hate to be that coach who has any of the above mentioned players...:p

I'm only showing those that are popular or relevant for this purpose though I can give you Owens if that makes you happy.

Thanks for the Cole and McVee pick up, can always count on your fine comb.(y)
Maybe keep him quiet after a 97.

My F6 of Davey/Greene/Ratugolea certainly isn't inspiring me after 2 rounds so he could be on the Round 3 watch list

I always find these lists interesting.

I have all five of those mids - which I’m guessing is quite a rare combo given Bytel’s injury and Phillips being the sub and then omitted - but only one forward.

Quite a few POD names there.

Can’t say I know too much about him but as a 200k rookie averaging 87.5 he has sparked my interest. Would love to get some insights on his role and if people believe his scoring is sustainable?
I watch GWS games. Buckley is a solid player but he's ultimately a KPD. He's got a decent pair of hands but 87.5 is a bit of a freak average for a KPD off a small sample size - I'd expect him to mainly score around that 65-80ish range, with occasional spikes into 90s but also falls into the less than 50 range. For a rookie I'd be happy enough with that if needed. His 2021 gives a decent idea - averaged around 66 if you strip out his injury game, made about $150k off it.

Given what he's shown I'd hope he keeps his spot when Aleer, Keeffe and/or Davis come back, I'd rather Haynes out for Aleer and Davis and Keeffe to stay in the 2nds (though it sounded like Davis was coming straight into the seniors until he re-injured himself which isn't good).
