Can see the "free" sub rule potentially becoming an issue when you have first year rookies in your SC team. They are easy sub targets.

The AFL introduced a sub rule because of serious injury/concussion. Which is fine. Then clubs manipulated and cheated the rule and everyone knows it is a bad look. Makes AFL look silly. AFL answer? Not tell the Clubs don't fudge it. They just change the rule so it is not a bad look anymore. Classic AFL.
