I remember this day well. (actually, not so well.)

Back in the day a few of the lads played these stupid drinking games, and on this day we all had to draw out 2 names from the hat, and down a beer for every goal they kicked.

My selections were Jarman and Dunstall. :)
Was a big day.

How does a situation where a team is regularly uncompetitive to the point of averaging 100-point losses occur? In professional sports, arenā€™t most athletes relatively similar in terms of skill, athleticism, training, and resources etc? Shouldnā€™t the difference between winning and losing be relatively minor, especially in the age of equalisation?
West Coast have obviously had issues with injury management this year, they were bad anyway but now theyā€™re a barely a WAFL team it seems.

Very true. I just thought that even a 1/2 AFL team and 1/2 fringe AFL/WAFL team would be more competitive. Maybe I have underestimated the difference between AFL and State League players.

1% off, in any of the variables that make a professional footy team is huge. WC are... 95% off. And it's not the players' fault IMHO.

Doesn't seem two motions, just looks like he held the tackle too long if anything, Brockman possibly contributed to it being worse than it otherwise would have been.
Mcluggage actually got hit by Brockman which contributed to the hit ā€¦.
Itā€™s Brockies hip that hits the head of mcluggageā€¦.

all one motion tooā€¦.
Actually it looks like the reverse angle, which Ironhawk posted, shows Brockmanā€™s hip missing McCluggageā€™s head. Concussion looks to be caused by the head hitting the ground.

I think the holding on to the tackle too long / secondary sling motion part will cost him. He didnā€™t need to follow through with the tackle rotation after McCluggage was already dispossessed. It happens quickly for sure but thatā€™s the precedent this season.

Edit: all the angles available here. Thereā€™s one in particular which shows his head slam into the ground

No
No
No
and No.

Greg Clark is not as skilled as Laird. No even on the same planet
Bazzo is no match for Tex who is ragdolling him
I can recall at the start of this season a number of Essendon supporters saying they were never fit enough under their previous coach.
Gold Coast and Freo for years had sub standard training facilities compared to the major clubs. And the quality of coaches varies enormously which why they get sacked.
