There is an old saying 'start as you mean to go on' so if a player starts out low chances are it will continue and there's something not quite right, better to trade to someone who has a good improvement and started well eg LDU.
Laird one last chance. Definitely need to see some energy for the contest this week

Here is how my team is looking atm, would love any feedback. Can comfortably sit back and hold fire as I've had no Stewart or Gawn, but part of me wants to go aggressive early. Jones and Hopper are the two main ones that are up for consideration, with Tom Green, Daicos, Young, and Cole/Pou the likely inclusions, JHF is also up for debate but will likely just watch him today. Currently have 181k in the bank which gives me flexibility. Chandler will come in next week, as well as any other rookies who look needed, which is why I'm thinking I want Pou/Cole in this week. About 20k short from going Hopper straight to Green. Any feedback appreaciated

Searching for a Kelly replacement and just cannot decide on Cogs or Gulden. Cogs feels like more of a like for like replacement but Gulden potentially more upside and gives me some more money to play with next week.
I went to LDU just because he was in many of my preseason drafts.

Is Phillips worth holding onto? Toying with the idea of trading him this week to free up trades for next week.

I don't think going Jones to Cole is a particularly good move, Jones might just need a decent game against the Saints to get his confidence up and could average more than Cole anyway, is it worth having another look at Hopper in case he gives you a ton this week?
That being said I've already clipped Jones for Mckenna and Hopper for Callaghan and have a nice bank next week.
Nice side by the way.

Yep exactly right re Jones and Hopper. Im leaning towards keeping both, there's just that feeling that makes me want to go aggressive early. After seeing what all Freo defenders did to Saints last week makes me really want to keep Jones, I definitely want to give Hopper another chance since he's proven he can average 90, its more the fact Green could pull out a 200 on WCE this week that's giving me that FOMO feeling. Cheers for the feedback

Just looked sooooo good last week. Didn't want to swap Hooper but it allowed #35 trade.

First week didn't feel right without #35 in the team.
Look forward to watching him running around in a few minutes, hopefully without a parasite attached to him! lol

Feels good hitting the trade button again. Boost #1 activated.

Taken JHF just to tick off the DPP with Bruhn getting the chop next week, and to get another look at the midfield crop. McKenna a nice debut, JHF and Young 2 exciting young guns to own going forward.

Frustrating to lose Kelly in round 1, but it's hard to avoid the injury plague these days. We've seen a heap of it with popular players already, and at least Kelly gave a score out before his demise. I figure all of Gawn's ownership is ahead of my side on rank, so I'm trying to take advantage of that now, as they will be taking advantage of the money next week.

Basically no CBA with Miller, Touk, Anderson, Greenwood playing.

Scored all the points with that factored in in the preseason but with Touk back he’ll only get mid time on the wing.

Nothing wrong with that but not sure he’ll be an 80-85+ scorer and at 260k and other forward options scoring so well it’s a tricky one.

Can see why he’s one traded out, especially for non Sheezel owners.
Ummm Greenwood departed for North a couple of years ago.

I watched the whole game and Flanders appeared to be in the second midfield group - got 4 CBAs in total but was also at quite a few stoppages around the ground. Davies being omitted this week probably means a few more CBAs and stoppages to go around for the other second-string midfielders.

My gut is screaming at me to trade out Laird for Cogs and Fyfe out for someone else (Pedlar?) now and leave breathing room for 2-3 correctional trades next week.

Could then pick up Laird again on the other side of the roundabout when the first cash cows start mooing and have a bit of cash in the mean time for other correctional trades over the next couple of weeks.

A bit under 3 hours to mull it over but my finger is hovering over the trigger.

Thinking about bringing in Sheezel tonight, anyone know if he is going to be a late out!!
On account of him training separately because of a tightness in the calf I think it was.

Had Cameron in my team all of my short preseason, then changed him to Gulden. Time will tell.
