Thinking the same VC Darcy, only concern is Moyle out rucked Marshall (stats based didn’t see game, could be based on last 1/4 when Marshall was subbed) and forecast of rain in a suburban ground. Darcy a better tap ruck than Marshall so could be an option.

Anybody see the game how does Moyle look as a competitive tap ruck?

2/439 (Dawson)

A couple of days ago my dad asked me if I preferred a good SC score or for Carlton to be doing well for a change. Given the dramatic flip in both those fortunes last night, I think I have my answer!

Now the problem for Dawson/Laird VC people is, the score you're getting off your bench, to lock in the donut as C.
My wife has Laird VC
Cowan (42) E on the Def bench, no good.
Hollands (64) E on the Mid bench. To lock it in, it means benching Mackenzie. If Mackenzie goes 90, and he could with Day out and a potential role change, you are giving up 26 points, to lock in 134. That seems disadvantageous.
Chandler (YTP) on the Fwd bench. But the decision on Hollands needs to be made before Chandler plays, as Davey is the donut.

So, locking in Lairds 135 means either:
Locking in Hollands 65, and hoping Mackenzie doesn't go big.
Or
Ignoring Hollands, and hoping Chandler (and Mackenzie) goes well enough as you've locked his score in over Hawthorn's Greene.

Will probably do the 2nd one. Prolly.

55-75 he’s worth a look and only rises 17-30k.

80-100 he’s definitely a trade in but still only goes 30-40k up whilst then having that large score in his 3 round cycle for 2 low BE’s next 2 weeks and you don’t miss too much of his cash gen.

VC new boy Dawson, however, at this stage only way to take him is drag Jones, Constable on a take Cowan's breakout game (to low side) of 41.

Only other option is rather than upgrade Worpel to a mid, swing constable to mids and take Holland, however, not sure what defender I would want. last night it would have been Saad (after Dawson), now he is injured.

This affects my plans. Probably trade out Cole now, which will mean avoiding Cowan's E score. Will use Davey as captain and run with one of McKenzie or Callaghan as the E.

(Article says Cole facing an extended period in the sidelines after reinjuring the ankle that kept him out last year)
