Oliver 128 ave
LDU 122.5
Neale 118
Bont 117.6
Miller 115.4
Libba 113.4
Serong 112.6
Laird 108.6

Green 107.8
Reckon he is par with Serong and finishes above Libba on averages in that list.

Personally won’t be trading Green. He’s been clearly GWS’ best mid and apart from a hard tag second half last week against the main tagging team in the comp atm (Hawks) he looks like a gun.

Still has mini Oliver written all over him for ROS imo.

People are kidding themselves if they think they are getting the top 6 Backs, Forwards and top 8 Midfielders in their side by the end of upgrade season.

Nothing wrong with a Green, Gulden, Day type in your side and not in the top few, value is still important.

Yep. No where near the amount of value as last year. Sheezel, Ziebell and Day the only sub 400k options that I think will even get close to premium levels. Can’t see anyone having 23 premiums this year.

That's why i am thinking Dawson and Day plus retaining Noah vs Stewart Wilkie and retaining Setterfield is close The setterfield onfield vs a baker type sways me but it's hard to miss Dawson The best bye comes into it might go stewart and wilkie what do you think?

This is where I am up to at this point.
Traded out - Ginbey, Baker & Mackenzie.
Traded in - Stewart, Johnson & Roberts.
I really need some dead rookies to come back to life by the bye rounds. Downgrade and cash generation options seem thin at the moment.

94 in all matches without Green. High: 207 Low: 0

97.7 when Green has missed. High: 141 Low: 53
I think we also need to consider that Hopper, Taranto and Ward ran through the midfield in years previous. I’m pretty sure this is the first season Green is being given bulk CBA’s without those guys and alongside Cogs when he wasn’t shoved forward with Cameron in charge. I’m certain Cogs will benefit from no Green this week but unsure if Green has affected him much before where it’s been other guys and the coach instead.

I’m thinking of going aggressive this week and would appreciate any thoughts, Saad-Touk
Pickett-Neale
Caminiti-Roberts
It now gives me the big5 IMO in the mids with Laird, Oliver and Bont, I’ll be rotating when I can between Johnson, Roberts, Baker, Long and Davey at M8 for a bit and now have JZ replacing I suppose the big question mark in this trade scenario Saad at D3. Saad is done for 1-2wks and of course if he misses a week and takes up where he left off, my starting POD will haunt me for the rest of the season, but it’s a risk I’m willing to take as I’m languishing around the 60k mark and need to do something or my seasons just going to drift with maybe a 20k finish. Thoughts-hold fire and just get Stewart in 1up 1down and put Saad on the bench (original trade) or go aggressive with trade which leaves me with 22 trades and 7/8 upgrades, but with the likes of Sinclair, Sicily, Day all achievable and maybe Doch in a month or so, I feel their more likely a 2 trade proposition in as opposed to the 3 needed for the 600k+ brigade. Thanks in advance.

Wanted to get Touk, but Williams means I have to take the more expensive Johnson as a downgrade leaving me 1.1k short of funds.

So instead I'm looking at either Coniglio or Lloyd... has Cogs bottomed out, or is his form just bad? Has Lloyd returned to his prime seagull status?

Hawkins past 2 weeks really strong, still doesn’t appear fully fit however so I would be mindful of that…Handy pickup at that price…but then Ziebell is similar price and will show much better consistency if you don’t have him.
Yes, already have Ziebell.

I can do Bruce/Mackenzie/Ginbey to Roberts/Johnson/Bont and that leaves me a mere $400 spare. That is the best premo I can get this week, and then maybe look to move Ashcroft or JHF up to someone next week. Could even VC the Bont!

The "value" depends on when you buy them though. Some chance someone like Wines ends up a top midfielder across the second half of the year, and you'll have an opportunity to buy him for 400k

(Not advocating, btw, just suggesting it's a possibility. I wouldn't be getting on it!!)

With the limited cash it really is going to be a case of picking your way through and knowing where compromises, and calculated risks are OK, and where you have to spend your cash.

Considering an upgrade in the forward line, one of:
Ziebell vs. Butters vs. Heeney

I think Heeney is really underpriced for what he can output, however he has been stuck in the forward line and isn't attending many CBs.
I have a massive soft spot for Butters and he has a high ceiling, however I don't know how well Port are going to go this year and he has a tendency to get injured.
Ziebell is the obvious consistent choice, but I get the feeling he doesn't have a huge ceiling anymore.

Thoughts?

Ziebell quite easily.

Ginbey > Roberts (via DPP)
Baker > Johnson

Leaves me with over $500k in the bank. Should I take an early cash in on Chandler > Miller? Or wait a week and hope Miller doesn't explode, so I make an extra $10k or so?

Typing that out makes it seem a bit silly to take less points and roll the dice on missing out on (say) a Wilmot > Day trade next week for the sake of $10k though.

I'm doing the exact same 3 trades.
