I am planning to start Chad Warner in my midfield - priced at about $533K I think.
So he's not cheap, but that's not a bad price for someone who I reckon will be a keeper.
He is just 21 and has only played 40 games but in just his second (full) season he averaged around 97.
That included ten 100's including scores of 148 & 155.
I can see him getting the most mid-minutes at Sydney - he has speed, strength & is a smart user.
Looks to me that he can get up to a 110 level - does anyone agree/disagree?

I love the Cunnington pick. He’s on a close watch to see what the Roos CB rotations looks like - but given his age 32 and the Roos likely longer term view in premiership I don’t anticipate him being front and center unfortunately. That said right role and I’d even drop Dunkley because his price is that good!
Yep all a watch as of now. But seems true value. Can’t see him not making decent coin regardless. Maybe even a keeper if can average 90+

My concerns also ✅
Expectations should be greatly tempered and backup plans need to be in place for a quick downgrade or upgrade. Even in his best seasons he still managed to record numerous scores in the sub 80 or sub 65 range which will stunt any significant cash growth and test the patience of those who start him, to see how long they will persist and whether they will elect to fix him before other holes or vice versa.

What we have to work out is whether the inconsistencies are due to the player or the role. Given that GWS have had too many midfielders clambering for mid minutes, it could be the coach affecting his scores and a new environment lessens the inconsistencies.

Will he be an "I told you so" player or a "no brainer" stepping stone?

The above was in reference to the previous quoted messages regarding Cunnington and not referring to any ex GWS players.

Has been in my draft team from the beginning. Swans have several younger players worth keeping an eye on.

I agree and am keen on starting him this season, also from last season if you drop the 2 50's scores he had, he averaged 101 for the other 19 games. Was tossing up between Warner, Serong or Cerra, reckon Warner's the best of those 3.

I was just about to post something very similar. Yeo seems like the safer bet as well as the one that is less likely to leave you with a difficult decision.
I agree, at this early stage, that Yeo is the safer bet. If he’s fit he’s a gift in Defence.
Bowes is a wait and see, but if he‘s picked in R1, I‘ll be trying to squeeze him in.

Based on Beveridge recent comments about where Sam Darcy is at do you think he's in their best 22 come round 1? At around $250k as D/F he could be an option if rookies are hard to come by down back if he plays round 1.
